Denis has a good voice but that doesn't hide the fact anymore that he's actually a snitchy person. Not gonna lie he ripped off alot songs even back then. He used and reusing recourses all along. I don't hate him for that tbh but it's really rather rude to the original creators + this actually his song. Happy Arnold lol it was stated by Sumerian Records Hollow was copied and removed from their labels promotions. Even if him and Ben worked on the early stages of the song together, Ben and AA own the rights to it. People also forget Danny took Denis to court for plagiarism as Denis was using Danny’s vocal tracks during his live performances and lip syncing to them. Denis is a waste of skin, talented or not, he’s a dirt bag human being. He’s made a career built on the work of others.

You can easily find the original statement by Sumerian records for dropping the song on their platforms, you are correct Danny took actions not just against Denis but AA as a whole. There’s nothing to take out of context. Denis chose to use someone else’s vocals to cover up for his live performances and got caught. He’s been infamous for using riffs from other bands and writers. This is nothing new if you’ve ever followed the guy. He’s always been trouble and problematic. A waste of otherwise talent.

So the entire self titled album was written by Ben and Denis when Denis was still in the band. Danny came back to the band and they had to rewrite all the vocals extremely quickly and get the album before Denis could get something out with Down and Dirty, (which is now just named Drag Me Out.) So this was literally the song that was going to be on that album before Danny came back to the band.

Yeah, I think this was an AA demo or possibly a b-Side instrumentally that Denis had a big part in writing. It most likely was supposed to have been tracked and written with Denis on vocals on the next record before he was kicked out of AA. Inevitably the song was slightly changed and became Alone in a Room with Danny on the next record. Only the label knows why they took down the original release of Drag Me Out's version. Maybe a spat over legal rights to the song or label issues, I dunno.
