“A while” is a huge understatement. He’s been teasing new music for around 2 years, to the point where his fan base got tired and stopped following him. Nobody likes a person who doesn’t commit and keep their word. If someone says they’re releasing new music this year, and as the months pass and the end of the year approaches nothing new is out, and then they change their statement to something like “new music next year!”, people are going to get disappointed.

I actually liked that they used the instrumental at the end - added a little interest, in my opinion anyway, to a pretty dull song. Then again, I thought the vocals in the chorus were not catchy at all, though the chord sequence was good. Verses also just felt like filler (to me), which doesn’t really work when the chorus isn’t that great. What almost sounded like a pre-chorus was the only bit I found good, wish they’d developed it

@Klangdelta15 жыл бұрын
To the style of Drag Me Out: Denis is done with heavy music. Yes, he is an incredible screamer but he stated it now multiple times - he is no longer into heavy music. If you check his social media you will find out that nowadays he is mostly into pop/rock or alternative but also into today’s rap scene and a lot of ambient dreamy sounds. His taste in music changed a lot and he stated in an interview a year ago or so that this project won’t be heavy or include screams. Denis came up with the idea of this project while hanging with his friend (the bassist - Easy Target on Instagram) and recording some demos that’s what I guess and I think he presented the idea of that sound to stas and Chris so yeah they definitely have a huge influence on the music especially stas but at the end of the day (that’s my guess) Denis has got his own vision for this project: creating multiple influenced alternative rock and you can realize that if you check some of the leaked demos. None of them are actually heavy but they have a huge TTS vibe including other experimental elements especially some heavy electronic instruments. I still think that there might be one or two more or less heavier songs in the future but I guess we’ll see. Good video and reaction though. I still think that the structure is pretty cool because they already brought the chorus for the third time just after the bridge but in a softer and more ambient based way so then kicking in with the intro again was really cool to hear, at least for me. :)
@hannsenpai4 жыл бұрын
btw, did you know they're working in new music, heavier than this album?
@Klangdelta14 жыл бұрын
Hann Yes I did catch that on Instagram! I just hope that it keeps a hint of this alternative or trancy vibe in some way. I don’t really want a generic core record just because iTs HeAvY. But anyway I’m stoked for it!!
