This is awesome! I wish stories like Quinn's were shown more often, New Orleans is a city for everyone and our city's history (from ALL angles) should be taught!!! 🏳️‍🌈💙

I say this with zero bigotry (although most are gonna still take it as anyway) The overly-extended acronym is in the literal sense ridiculous (def: Prone to ridicule.) So if you want to command respect from hetero people, I think a great place to start would be a classier term. Why not ""The alternative lifestyle" community. I dunno, I'm just here to make that suggestion. Happy Pride month.

i think the reason the acronym was created was because there were so many labels/identities. its not just being gay. its also not a lifestyle a lifestyle is like being vegan or exercising every morning. its an identity just like your race, ethnicity, culture, religion ect. just like being straight or cis (identifying with your gender assigned at birth). but yeah i see no bigotry just a learning opportunity 😊
