@@fiery_scream I did this! I had very minimal student loans after 2 years in university that I paid off within 2 years after I graduated in 2012, during the height of recession. At 33, I bought a condo and I am able to travel to a different country every year. Aside from the mortgage, I don't have any debt to pay. So I am so happy for you. You are doing the right thing. 10-15 years from now you will be financially stable and look back at your community college days fondly. Cheering you on!!!!!

When my mom died, the first person who my dad dated after was hands down the worst person I have ever met. My dad always assumed the reason I didn’t like her was the classic “you just don’t want me to be happy.” Five years later, they FINALLY broke up, and the next person he dated was fantastic. We were immediately friends. I will tell you the whole kid “angry about widowed parent dating trope” seriously almost ruined my dad’s relationship with me and my brothers. The show is amazing. It portrays many Indian elements carefully and correctly. Making the main character a Tamil (south Indian region) is the icing on the cake. It's refreshing and liberating to see an Indian who doesn't speak Hindi or cooks chicken biryani for dinner on an American television show for a change!

The commentary is always so fun to watch but maybe I'm too old, but I can never relate to any of these netflix shows or the characters. Most of the time the characters aren't even likable. But I love watching Trixie and Katya talk about it.

Yes! I think (and hope!) these new teen shows are being made by really wealthy, out of touch people. The characters are insufferable twits. Thank God these broads get it!

My dad remarried a year after my mom died and I absolutely freaked out. I was 21. When that happens you're still grieving and it's confusing to see your parent with someone else. So I get it. You can't expect everyone to move on at the same pace as you.
