yea, I kinda expected their reactions to be a different to that part. obviously the characters are inexperienced and learning how to navigate all this stuff, and Eric and Adam have a complex history, but Eric did not deserve a "good for him" with that scene. whether Adam was ready/wanted to have sex or not, that should not be a judgement for "how committed" he was to Eric, and it's very harmful of Eric to suggest that

I know I hated how they handled that. It made no sense for Eric to act like that either. The whole "I need to figure out myself" narrative made no sense. Eric already knows himself and he's proud af he'd have no issues exploring himself while still being with Adam.
