Hellena only won because of her message on the runway. "Poor me I have HIV" Does she take out adverts in the newspapers to tell everyone? I can imagine all the major cities in Brazil have billboards with Hellena on them telling everyone she has HIV. Production made a choice ,just like they did last week. I hate it when "a message" means more than the actual runway.

It's so interesting to see the reaction of people from other countries to Brazil's SnatchGame, it's basically what we feel when we watch the US SnatchGame for example, most of the time we don't know the celebrities and we laugh at the way the queens talk and the judges. This episode was made especially for the Brazilian audience, the entire episode is full of references to Brazilian culture such as memes, tributes, references, etc... Perhaps for an outsider who is not used to the experience, it must be very lost.The Grag Queen look that you hated is clearly a tribute to one of the most important figures in drag art and Brazilian culture: Elke Maravilha! Elke, was a woman very ahead of her time since in the 70s/80s she had this exaggerated style and a very deep and beautiful vision of life! She declared herself as a drag queen because her style was very unique and super exaggerated, Grag is wearing a personal look from her collection and is 100% faithful! So it's not supposed to be a pretty look as we are used to seeing! It was a very nice and important gesture In the mini Challenge, there was another reference that made Brazilians love, which was doing a challenge inspired by one of the biggest memes in Brazil: The fake pregnant woman from Taubaté! It was a woman who deceived the whole of Brazil using a GIGANTIC fake belly saying she was pregnant with several children, falsifying exams and ultrasounds so that her husband could believe her, She went on TV shows, won several things and even made a presenter cry, she was only discovered by the other TV presenter and of course by the real owner who saw the ultrasounds being shown in tv. About the snatch game: Helena and especially Dallas did it PERFECTLY, you might get lost in the jokes because there were SEVERAL references to memes and the way Narcisa and Dilma talk! Miranda and Betina were also incredible, even though Miranda didn't speak so deeply to the cook Paola! And in the sync look, Naza showed a little of Haircut Culture Where here in Brazil there are styles and types of drag artists who specifically do this type of show, which is AMAZING! So it was an episode like that, 100% Brazil🇧🇷💖🇧🇷💖

When Grag said a lot of girls did Ines Brasil she was referring to another reality show called “Academia das Drags” on KZbin, which had a drag race-like format and a challenge similar to snatch game. In that challenge, half of the cast did Ines Brasil because it was 2014 and she was the new hyped meme at the moment

For us brazilians the Snatch Game was brilliant. Hellena and Dallas was totally on character

So, for context: Helena was playing Narcisa, a Brazilian socialite known for being clueless and acting kinda crazy, but always in a loving funny way. Helena NAILED IT. It was like she was Narcisa herself. Shannon Skarlet played as Ines Brasil, she's an Brasilian icon dancer and performer known for her signature look and for her catch phrases, she also worked as prostitute for many years in Germany before coming back to Brazil. Unfortunately, Shannon didn't serve not even 50% of Ines Brasil, she's very out there and out loud and have this crazy funny personality that would demand Shannon to give a lot more to her performance. It was okay, overall though. Dallas played as Dilma Roussef, Brazil's first female ex president known for her unique speeches and way of talking - which Dallas got on point! A great night for her in the snatch game, a disaster in the runaway. Rubi was playing Marília Gabriela, Brazil's most famous interviewer which hosted for many years one of these talkshows where she interviewed famous people. Marília have a too specific type of voice and way of speaking and it was a slippery choice, which didn't pay off for Rubi in the end. Naza played Márcia Sensitiva, a Brazilian 'psychic' that is know for her aggressive bursts while speaking that come out of nowhere. Naza started good, she got the looks, but couldn't hold in character. Organzza played as Maria Bethânia, one of Brazil's most famous and iconic singers and loved by a great part of Brazil's LGBTQ+ community - unfortunately it's not very easy to make Maria Bethânia look funny since she have more of a dramatic and poetic aura about here, and it ended up being a 'meh' performance from Organzza. Miranda came as Paola Carosela, an Argentine chef that was host on Brazil's MasterChef for many years and is a dear for many brazilians. There was a gossip some time ago that she was a lesbian apparently - which she never said she was - so Miranda decided to play a bit with that, which was clever in my opinion, since Paola is not a comedy icon, so there wasn't much material to work with. A safe performance, but that could have gone really awkward if done wrong. Points to Miranda for doing Paola justice. And last but not least there was Betina playing a Brazilian meme Regina Rouca, which goes as something like Hoarse Regina. Regina is a regular Brazilian lady known for her rasp voice and for smoking a lot - she became quite popular doing reels during the pandemics saying some daily thoughts or 'words of wisdom' but always with some sort of twist on it. A funny performance from Betina that made justice to Regina's content. Hope to have helped!

I love Grag and I think she makes a fabulous host for Brazil Drag Race. She seems supportive and encouraging especially this week. Although I don't understand a word of Portuguese I knew for a fact Dallas and Helena were superb. I felt so sad for Rubi, but she had a great run. Shannon's look was a reference to enslavedwomen known as lavadeiras whose job was to wash their masters clothes. She was holding her headpiece because they would do it, not because it was heavy. After slavery was abolished they continued to exist, and are a part of brazillian culture, specially in northern and north-eastern countryside.

Top 3 was spot on. But Hellena was FANTASTIC. Narcisa is a huge character and could be a great miss. To me, I would have put Organzza in the bottom instead of Shannon. Naza was really the worst. About the "Gravida de Taubaté", she was a lady who alleged she was having a lot of twin babies and had a HUUUGE BELLY (Almost the side that the queens wore). She was eventually invited to national tv to talk about how hard her maternity was and the tv show arranged baby stuff for her. But one of the hosts (Cris Flores) noticed her behaviour was extremely awkward. The belly was of an abnormal size and still was taking a bit long for coming to term,. So she Nancy Drew'd the eff out of the woman and found out she wasn't actually pregnant and exposed that her belly was just a PLASTIC BEACH BALL hidden under the dress. She basically was one of the first viral fake news of our country and became an eternal brazilian meme.The objects had no correlation to the meme tho.

Your video reaction only proves how hard it is for those who don't speak Portuguese or don't know Brazilian memes to understand Brazilian snatch game (or any country's snatch game, if you don't speak the language), but the subtitles didn't help either. "Faxina" simply means "house cleaning" and it was a pun with the word "v4gin4". That's because Miranda's character is originally Argentinian, so she made a (respectful) joke with her accent. I think the subtitles could have been more helpful on allowing you guys to understand this and other jokes.

Miranda had funny jokes, but it just wasn't a good impression. Her Paola Carosella wasn't recognizible at all. Organzza was the opposite, a very good impression, but there wasn't many jokes. Dallas probably could win if her runway was good, though, it was the best impression, Hellena being a close second.
