Audio is always an issue with these non-English international seasons. It's like, they're given the library of all the songs they use for the original show but the editors haven't watched a single episode of RPDR so they have no clue on where and when to use each track.

Basically, they edit it like any other generic reality show when Drag Race already has a very distinctive identity editing wise.

It might be that because its a foreign country they have to license with a different company for background music. There's a lot of red tape around using pieces of music, even house music, and there might be behind the scenes reasons they go with another company to supply the licenses in that country.

They had months or so to fix their lack of edit and volume mixing, and they've probably seen and heard the comments and critics of the viewers about the edit but....we got the mild edit from the production😶‍🌫

So that's what I'm missing while watching the episode. For some reason I can't pin point why the entrances felt so dull and I was unexcited for each Queen to arrive. DRPH really need to fire their audio editors and hire new ones that knows what they will do! This audio issue has been happening since S1!

DRPH staff should really hire better audio engineers and editors who actually watch the original series. Nasasayang ang appeal ng show 'coz it doesn't emulate the familiar RPDR flavor of sound design. I hope they could work it out sa Season 3.

You should do this with Mexico as well, the music and sounds are so off. Mexicos case is so sad cause the franchise ended up in the wrong hands and it seems like this people had never watched a season of dragrace, they literally destroyed our chances of having a nice dragrace. Even local drag show la mas draga is way better. It could’ve been the best franchise but now is the worst. Thanks to the production and edition. Hope they change them and it gets better on season 2.

because Philippines official language is Tagalog(Filipino) and English because of American Colonization in the past for 48 yrs and they pushed us to learn English by giving us American English in the curriculum, so until now, English is learned as early as Kindergarten to College and even Work focused and Communication this is why we have the mixed language of Tagalog(Filipino) and English which is called TAGLISH (mixed of the 2) that we use today, as you can see so don't blame us that we also can't speak our native ONLY and English because the Old(Past) Americans is the one to blame on colonialism and the fact that modern Americans doesn't know about their own colonialism on other countries(a.k.a their own dark history) is baffling to us cause your complaining now when their ancestors in fact the one to blame

⁠​⁠​⁠@@r3driftGurlll, if you actually meet Filipinos, you will know its not a corporate decision, look at street interviews, normal convos on television, that is what we actually say there are times that we say the same words kabinet/cabinet, there is a tagalog word "Aparador"(Ah-pah-rah-dor) and we Gen Z called it kabinet/cabinet cause its easier and has 3 syllables than Aparador which has 4 syllables another is Knife/Kutsyilyo (Ku-chill-yoh) 1 vs 3 syllables, we are completely using it over our language cause its easier money: Dalawang Daan Piso (harder to say) < 200 pesos (easier to say) in a sentence, You know Jacky, pumunta sa mall at kakain ng (she is going to the mall and gonna eat) fried foods at bibili ng milk tea (and will buy) --- literal common conversation of us students ---
