To those who are confused about Katkat's entrance. Her entrance line: "Ah eh, maganda ba ako sa picture?" (Am I pretty on picture?), she self-referenced herself when during cast reveal in DRPh season 1, a screenshot of a group chat message where she said that the queens of season 1 are only beautiful in photos were leaked. The shark bit was a reference when Minty Fresh tweeted something about Captivating Pating (pating = shark). It was pretty hilarious if given the context.

Cockfighting is both legal and illegal in the Philippines. There are official cockpits that host legal cockfighting (or when there is a festival/fiesta) while the illegal ones are kinda in hidden, secret areas. Pretty much most dads love watching/participating in it. My dad brought me in one before and it was pure chaos but everyone just seems to naturally understand what was going on. 🤣 Love watching you guys!

It was on her head then the long tail covered her like it was the nest. And half of her face was painted like a stone because the mythical bird has the ability to turn anyone into a stone or heal someone. That’s why her face was half-half. I'd say drag race france has been one of the best drag race seasons in recent years hands down. Not just the fashion, but the interactions between the girls, the way in which Nicky hosts, the diversity of the pit crew, the drag kings being included, the other judges and their relationships to the girls, Keiona, the guest judges, the lip sync songs, the challenges. Just the overall authenticity of the show, and the fact that it feels less overproduced than any recent American season. Completely understand that you don't have time to watch every season and make individual review series for them all, would not want you guys to overwork yourselves. But would highly recommend catching up on Drag Race France in your own time and not reviewing it on youtube if you have the chance, just for your own viewing pleasure as it really is a spectacular season of drag race and imo it's an example of what other franchises should be aiming to be, instead of aiming to be like American drag race. As it just is so much better

I was trying to craft a message that would convince you to at least watch the French version of a Rusical on episode 5, "Le Bossu de Notre Drag" (starts around minute 28 on WoW+). Captivating Katkat's entrance line is actually a reference to the drama that she was involved to during the premier of Drag Race Philippines Season 1. She shaded the queens, specially Minty Fresh, saying that they only look good in pictures. "Maganda ba ako sa picture?" translates to "Do I look good in picture?" Additionally, Minty Fresh clapped back by saying that Katkat looks like a shark. know it's hard for the international audience to get it but Katkat's whole entrance act is really iconic.

Here in the Philippines, You need to have a license to hold a cockfighting event, because it's gambling. And it's only allowed to be held in Sundays, *Legal* Holidays, and Fiestas. I think the reason why it's legal is because they made it so that the government gets a tax cut from the event holder / organizers, still a horrible showcase of animal cruelty tho.

Fun fact: Tiny's entrance line "Chubby ah?" was actually a call out to one of the producers of the show who was at the time, being called out bc of the editing and the sloppy audio of season 1. The producer have tweeted various tweets confronting the fandom about the editing. One of the fans have acknowledge one of his tweets and said his reply was "Chubby ah" (Saying the person looks chubby or f@t bc of the profile picture, and it's not even connected w/ the main topic). While taping Tiny's entrance, as soon as she've entered and stated her line, it was said that all producers have applauded and was actually shocked.
