Isa Pang Araw is a soundtrack of a movie where the premise is an Elderly woman was given another chance in life when she becomes younger for some magical reason. The song basically translates to "One More Day." Both have emoted the song perfectly it's for a reason. Zymba, according to Vinas, dedicated the lip sync to his dad who recently passed just a month prior to the taping of Drag Race. She's asking for one more day to share with his dad. As for Tita Baby, since the song was about an elderly woman begging for another day to live her life, it's kind of in a similar with Tita Baby's situation. Tita Baby may not be as old as the main character of the song, but as we get older, the more we contemplate about life and death.

Maxie being mad to both Jquin And Myx, I feel like wasn't just particularly about the scene showed when Maxie said "roll the fuck*ng tape," because there was a scene before where Jquinn and Myx talked about Angel behind her back during the girl group challenge. Or maybe there are more behind the scene happenings that weren't included in the final edit.

Additional context you may have missed with Maxie and JQuinn: She mentions in the same segment that Maxie confronted JQuinn immediately re: JQuinn and Myx talking about Angel behind her back. However, JQuinn stayed silent instead of admitting their opinion at the time when confronted. Then, in the mini-challenge itself, JQuinn even tried to gaslight Maxie about the incident. JQuinn was going "when was this?" instead of being accountable when Maxie was directly involved in the incident and had receipts! So it's VERY understandable why Maxie would angrily call them out there.

Here's the tea: Only Angel, Zymba and Tita Baby followed the brief in writing their lyrics which is about their journey all throughout the competition. That's one of the reasons why Angel won but Khianna's performance was AMAZING too. Im Team Maxie, Team Khianna and Team Angel, I will be very happy if one of them wins. Khianna and Maxie can slay ANY international competitions for sure. That's what Im more excited with.

I’m a tad mad cause next week is the finale. I could have used a few more weeks of this. Prior to the season starting, my top 4 were Maxie, Khianna, Tita Baby and Zymba Ding. So I wasn’t too off! Hoping for a final two between Khianna and Maxie. I love Tita, but with no badges and considering all the others have one, well…and just seeing her face in the previews, I doubt she’s making it further than top 4. I feel like this week could have gone to Khianna as well. For some reasons, I don’t really connect with Angel but I can’t deny her skills and the fact that she makes good TV. I’d be happy with either Maxie or a Khianna crowning. But honestly, crossing my fingers for Khianna as she came into this without competition experience like Maxie, and being provincial as well, she’s had a great arc; while Maxie was that girl already but she delivered.

may i ask why the name "rhino"? omg that corgi in the background! anyway, winning seems to stall one's career and keep them just local while not winning and being a finalist opens them up for international competition. especially with this cast where they are all doing well, maxie and khianna, especially, would be great on an international show. their earning potential would be so much more than if they win. definitely better if they were not told what the council was there to determine. still, that did not affect what maxie said lol. she went for it. zymba's was giving african because of the lion. although she has black heritage, it's indigenous black heritage not african. it's fine. it's like when non asians wear kimono or something.

the thing is, Angel and Khianna were offering to help if other queens were needing help with writing their script. JQ has the right to refuse, BUT she could've worded it correctly in a way that it doesn't sound so shady as saying "is that necessary?" and "you don't see that on drag race". for someone to shade someone trying to be good, is the problem. JQ could've tried to just say "no thanks, we're good" and not try so hard to be a bitch that she thinks she is. J Quinn has been so pretentious throughout the season too, so 😶😶

The only bad parts about this season is how they have robbed angel of like 1 or 2 more wins and also robbing Zymba consistently with the makeover win but also with her critiques. I just hate how they keep talking about her "cultural appropriation" when they literally put her in the top episode 1 for doing a Lion King spoof... so idk. @YCRhinoReactions I don't think that their beliefs are valid in reference to Zymba, specifically as they most of the time they reference her hair. She uses a lot of hair styles that would work for her natural hair, and they actually do work for her brand while adding to the uniqueness of her drag (as drag race stresses branding so much: hence why Myx was in the bottom for the girl group) However, I think that that's too criticized. Even the judges' panel disagreed with each other when BJ said that he thought she was appropriating. I think that she just has a lived experience much more different than them, and they are taking that out on her as an excuse to not give her the flowers she deserves such as the makeover challenge. I understand their opinion and I think cultural appropriation is a serious issue, but an example of that would be white people with cornrows and dreadlocks when those hairstyles don't match their hair type. I think with Zymba's case, it's just unfortunate because I genuinely think that she's just expressing her brand. It's not like she's wearing a headdress and dreamcatchers because she thinks it's "pretty," and doesn't recognize the meaning behind those things ya know? But that's just my perspective! If you have a different one, that's totally okay! At the end of the day, I do think that this season of Philippines is the best season of drag race of ALL TIME. As someone who watched like over 50 seasons of drag race (I'm sure you get me because you're a super fan too), I think this season is just so loveable, memorable, and unique. It really solidified how this franchise is just superior in so many ways.

- Maxie's anger reads completely different with Filipinos, who are very big on family. It doesn't read cluelessly angry, more like a big brother standing up for a sibling even if they're in the wrong - I don't think DRPH has ever done a roast challenge. It's really just not a Filipino thing, I'm guessing because "saving face" is very important with Filipinos which makes public humiliation very not ok - The cultural appropriation comment isn't specific to Filipino culture. Braids are not coded as tribal or indigenous in the Philippines. I think it's more a reflection of how much Filipinos are using the language Americans use when talking about race - I think Tita Baby will win it. DRPH likes crowning the more mature and seasoned queens. Precious and Captivating weren't the oldest queens in their seasons, but they were the ones who have been around the longest in the Manila drag scene. Post-Marina though it isn't a bad thing because it means a lot of these young queens get exposure with potential appearances in the the main Rupaul franchises

I know there isn't really a problem in my opinion about Zymba Ding and cultural appropriation but I think the Drag Ph Producers and Host are just being careful with these types of stuff to protect the queens and since there have also been some issues about these types of things about braids and hair. I know its absurd that you now have to be careful of what type of style your hair has to be since a lot of netizens get easily offended by something as small as that

Khianna has been serving every challenge and looks all throughout the season but it seems she's not the favorite of the judges(specially mama pao) and the production crew. They always down play her ability. I mean my god, she's been dominant all season but no credit? No shade, but compared to Angel... whatever she does, it is okay with the judges. Saving her from many bottom 2 worthy performances per week. Ughhh I am just sad for Khianna. She's not getting what she deserves. If the prod really love Angel and Maxie, then don't create a season.
