It's important to recognise that stand-up comedy and roasts are not common in many countries outside of the US, Australia and the UK, particularly in non-English speaking countries. This made the challenge disproportionately difficult for the 'foreign' queens as they had to first grasp the concept and then create jokes in a foreign language that were in keeping with American or British humour. This challenge seemed unfair from the start, giving native English-speaking queens a significant advantage over their counterparts.

Now this episode has me up in me feels. Poor Vanity had production against her with the edit and shady sound effects, again just give me a raw performance to judge. Totally in the same boat with you YC about Kitty, my mood changes when she’s on screen. It’s just unfortunate she’s being carried to the end along with Kween. Both are doing good* in their own rights, but the audience SEES the three Rupaul queens in the top 6 and soon carried to the finale. Why did production and Ru decide to tank a global opportunity? A question that will live on for eternity I fear

They didnt blow me out of the water though. Nelly shouldve won. But production has decided the top 3 already. 🙄

My current favs to watch on this season were Pythia, vanity and tessa. Sadly Pythia got eliminated. I am hoping nelly gets a win soon else its game over for any international representation at the finale. Though i fell in love with vanity and tessa on this season i dont think they are going to make it to the final, so the only hope is nelly gets a win and get to that top spot.

One thing I find weird about this season is Alyssa’s runway package. It’s all so…soulless. The looks just don’t feel like her. LIke she just gave a bunch of money to some designers with the list of required looks and that was the extent of her involvement. (You can see her actual taste level when she has to design something by herself.) This blue number she’s wearing tonight is actually the first one that feels like an Alyssa look.

In terms of placement, I think you could argue either way in terms of who should have been with Vanity. It still hurts to see Pythia go, her runways definitely was a highlight this season. I know I’m personally turned off from Kitty and Kween, but I really do believe Nelly should have won! Or at the very least her and Kween. I found kittys jokes rather repetitive, and lacked originality. Nelly needs her flowers, but I doubt we will get to see that on the show 💔
