I know how you feel friend. I grew up 70s through mid 80s at OCIR. My dad would lift me on his shoulders to see the cars better and we were regulars every Sat night. I still get teary eyes when I think about those days are gone. I just lost my dad that makes it harder. We were there for the last race and dad was teary eyed because it was over. Just hang on to those memories and smile because you got to be a part of the real deal. Thanks for the memories dad. Oh yea and I be right back with a pepsi with extra ice for you. 😉

Dual 1/4 mile "burnout" race! That was nuts. Everyone was having traction issues.. must be slippery in the desert.
