Sometimes you gotta tight line it to get to em, if im scoping creeks Ive never fished I always start out tightlining you can just cover more water faster that way. If I catch 2-3 in the same spot ill switch up to a bobber and set it to max depth based on how long the count is, people forget theres alot of math involved in fishing especially when your not using a transducer. If your snaggin on bottom constantly dont lose hope just reduce your count 1-2 seconds and youll be hovering right over that structure and a slab just might thump the crap out of your jig.

They typically group up on the Creek bends especially when another one is close by, S-bends in Creeks are textbook spots to find Crappie and White Bass. The current also digs more into the ground especially on sharper bends so they are generally deeper than the straighter sections of the creek. Earlier in the year Creek Mouths can be productive spots especially if they have a bridge nearby with pylons in the middle where the water is deeper the shade and structure will keep em there longer before they decide to move up.
