I love how when ever they interview people “ in the field” they always have to “wait a minute “ while they finish up with some task and usually help out somehow . These are such great stories 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😎

June 12, 1952…. 70 years later : still fresh still interesting for a full 30 minutes. The grifters still work on fraudulent donations. Thanks for the KZbin post 👍

$250 bucks in the early 50’s was a good chuck of cash . Smokes were Mabey a nickel a pack . Gas .10 cents a gallon . Yea $250 would go a long way . Sad people have been taking the easy route fir years I guess. You are spossed to work for your living .. not rip people off . Thank you for putting these great stories up 👍🏼

Per usinflationcalculator, $250. of 1952 would be the equivalent of $2,609.33 in 2021 dollars. A pack of cigarettes averaged 23 cents per another 'site. Presumably that includes Fatima _loooong_ cigarettes.

In this episode Jack Webb savagely beat some grifters who were stealing from crippled kids. …And then he stole their milk money.
