Geer was blacklisted at the time. That was Ralph Moody, one of Jack's "stock company" of players on radio and TV.

I have a special name for the “stock company” that Barry Grauman mentioned. I call them “The Mark VII Repertory Company” (Moody, Miss Gregg and many more)
