They even made the possibility to rivalmance your companions. If they worked on it for more time and didn't abandon it after the DA2 it could have been possibility for a non linear relationship mechanic. So one campanion could have multiple arcs.

@@noobhue1997 DA2 had a few things better than any other DA game. Unique specialization for companions, fact that all of them are missing one of the skill tree so they are unique in that aspect as well, the amount of skills making it much more fun to level up and upgrade them. Only important gifts (lack of giving 5 different rings to oghren for approval) but it has a tons of flaws as well

The Qunari always struck me as stuck up, yet interesting in their wisdom. Theirs is a philosofy of usefulness, purpose, certainty, results, achievement, roles. The Qun was made to quash the volatile nature of Qunari, a strict set of rules to contain themselves. Now, it is a way of life that sees freedom as chaotic, uncertain, and rotten. Everything has its place and purpose. It has a place for those that are lost, gives them purpose when they are faced with the myriad options of a free life; they ought not to think for someone already has done it for them.

Words of Qunlat the Arishok uses and the meanings for anyone who is interested: Karasten: Infantry commander; corporal. Arigena: One of the Triumvirate; female, leader of the workers. She is responsible for ensuring her people's physical needs are met and public health. Ariqun: One of the Triumvirate; male or female, leader of the priesthood. They are responsible for pushing scientific progress and ensuring the Qun is taught. Arishok: One of the Triumvirate; male, leader of the army. He is responsible for defending his people, expanding Qunari territory, and is the effective head of state. The Arishok is sometimes mistaken for a king by outsiders. Tal-Vashoth: "True Grey Ones." Former members of the Qunari who have departed or been exiled from their people and home. Many are violent rebels and turn against the Qunari, and are a menace in the north where they raid human and Qunari settlements alike. Others simply want to live their own life. Panahedan: "Goodbye." Literally, "take refuge in safety." Qun: The central philosophy of the Qunari peoples. Qunari: People of the Qun. A religious description, not race specific.

I think The Iron Bull is so different from Sten and Arishok because he has lived amongst the people of Thedas for too long. I also think what he said about Krem being the Qunari version of Transgender is a lie. The Qunari would never allow a person to choose their gender, let alone identify with the opposite sex. The Qun is a highly dogmatic and regimented structure, where the individual does not exist beyond being a unit within the group. For a woman under the Qun, their purpose is to serve, teach, or raise children. She cannot be anything else, let alone decide she is a he and that he wants to fight and not have children.

A small correction. According to Sten in DA:O, women can be priests, artisans, shopkeepers or farmers. Women do not raise children, unless they're priests, who are the ones that actually raise and teach children in qunari society, not their parents.
