Yeah but like a marriage proposal, how you do it matters. At least when Inquisition did it the dialogue was spread out with clues, cutscenes, and banter so you discover it while delving through the deepest of roads battling through an entire dlc. This was a 3 minute cutscene of a fireside chat to drop a bomb exolaining what we've wondered since the opening crawl of origins.

I remember Origins making it clear that the blight was caused by the OG Tivinter Imperium invading the Maker's home, and as a result, they and their gods turned into the first Dark Spawn. The details were shrouded in mystery, but the cause and effect were always known.

@chancelewis6674 and there was an entire elven pantheon, another dimension, some peoples thoughts have literal power, and Varric was actually a best selling author. There was a lot of miraculous content. I dont demy it. I only point out that the truth is highly obfuscated for the players with insufficient faith.

both titans and elves are primordial beings before the veil. looks like titans born woth corporeal bodies while elves without bodies aka they were spirits and later got bodies by carved from lyrium which is the blood/flesh of the titans. it is why they had wars.
