@@nerdmom5338 Nice little build! :) A few things I noticed: If you picked up Chaotic Focus for the damage boost from your Barrier, then you can place that skill elsewhere, since it does not work with your Flaming Array upgraded Fire Mine. You could also switch Immolate for Ice Mine with the Chilling Array upgrade and the Ice Armor passive. These two will be awesome for freezing enemies(and then follow the freeze with a Fire Mine for potential instant kill) and gaining a nice 50% damage resistance. This resistance is gold if you go against the insane damage having Hakkonites in the Jaws of Hakkon dlc. If you go for damage, rather than Disruption Field, you could pick up Winter's Grasp with Winter's Ruin for the 1000% cold damage on chilled enemies. This will help you out a lot when fighting fire dragons(plus it will instantly fill up your Barrier, so you don't even need the Barrier skill). Especially since you use the Ring of Doubt, you will probably always crit with it so you can deal up to 15k damage with your WG. Still, I like the way you specced your mage. Light/Fire/Spirit would not be my first choice(I just need to have some cold spells haha), but it seems like it's working fine for you. :)

@@nerdmom5338 Actually, no. Every mage can use two elements, if they use the Blade of Tidarion and they place a rune in it with a different element than the sword's base(e.i. Frost sword with Fire rune or Light sword with Frost rune). :)

Is the Dexterity from Avvar Cotton really better for DPS than Magic or Willpower would be? It gives 39% crit damage, but that only is more dps than 19% Attack (from the 39 Magic/Will) if you have 50% or more crit.

You mean spirit blade damage? You can use two elements on your BoT which allows you to fire 24 projectiles instead of 12 with energy barrage spell. This means, you can always full charge your spirit blade for using energy barrage :D

You mean yellow damage? That is spirit blade :) You can use energy barrage so always full charge spirit blade and that damage is huge :D

i think you should drop static cage for ice mine with ice armor it will give you more cc and more tankiness and you dont need the barriere skill since your passif will give you barriere anyway and the right path from the spirit tree is better to get 50% more max barrier so you dont get 1shoted on nightmare with trials

Thank you for your advice! :) I think your idea is great. But since I finished Descent, Static Cage worked sweet for me with fighting bunch of minions.. And damage itself was ok too. And also about spirit tree, I thought mana regeneration has more benefit since I have guard on hit masterwork and barrier skill and also knight enchanter has passive for barrier. And I like ice armor too. I gave this passive to Solas and he uses ice spells a lot. Thank you for living the comment and I hope you have a great day :D
