This class is a amazing. I wanted to go templar for a "spellsword" type gameplay but, I think I'll go with this for my melee/range mage. Fade step is so amazing and fun to use. Love the fast gameplay. I appreciate this build, my man! 🙏🏻

flaming aray is bugged with chaotic focus. it consumes barrier but doesn't increase power. use searing glyph instead.

IMHO Blade of tidarion is the best weapon for KE, because it can have 2 element like fire and ice+ it will shoot 24 energy barrage instead of just 12... And its a sword, and can U imagine a mage dual wield long sword, not dual wield dagger or sword but dual wield longsword thats looks so cool.. KE will hold their weapon on the right hand, and use their spell sword on the left hand, it looks so cool and feels like Jedi on steroid

Best weapon for every class IMHO : Warrior : Chromatic greatsword (double damage, 1 physical + 1 magic damage, and really great for reaver because of dragon rage) Rogue : Elgar'e'naste (dont know how to spell it) it will explode and do aoe damage, if we use poison + elemental rune, every shoot we make will do like 4-5x damage Mage : Blade of tidarion (for KE, looks cool and works best with KE) Encore (for Rift and necro, the best support staff in the game, the buff really great for team)

I was wondering how come in the ice build you didn't forego the spirit blade upgrade, the veiled riposte and arcing surge's upgrade to get to the ice mines+up, at that point you wouldn't have to worry about not comboing fade step (which could be turned into another mana generating resource instead of damaging/chilling enemies, but maybe that's not necessary) with winter grasp, but instead giving it the single target nuke option, since you can throw the ice mines first and grasp right after. Maybe also switch weapon's element to lightning for more elemental variety, since as i said earlier at that point you already have fire+ice combos anyways. Unless i misunderstood, energy barrage doesn't really proc anything that affects your mana regen or CD, so you have no real reason to keep it frost-locked (the only one would be the belt, but if you have frost mines i suppose the tradeoff is so much more favorable), also by avoiding surge's upgrade you could buy the frost armor, which seems particularly useful given that the build is overall ice-oriented. I might be missing something super-important as far as i know, but i couldn't stop wondering about it.

I know the rouge damage can't be beat due to pincushion... But mages have all the style. I hope the rethink spirit sword for the next game. It looks cool but the animation lock and slowish follow through is such a pain for positioning

Hi there, DOTs in this game is useless cuz they can't crit, and ice armor requires a lot of skill points to reach, I'd rather spend them somewhere else

Craft one using one of the materials that remove class restrictions e.g. Snoufluer Skin in the main slot.

Very nice balance here. The only worry I’d have with playing with this build is enemies that can immobilize you or the occasional mage capable of fade cloaking themselves, cutting off your barrier generation by preventing damage dealt. Ring of doubt could be handy for pushing this in a more rogue ish direction, otherwise spells like wall of fire would be helpful in keeping enemies like the Hakkonites at bay with panic while dealing good DoT damage.

@@RPGBUILDER33 yeah, sadly I work a lot more than I used to and don’t have as much time or energy to make content 😭 today was the first day in a while I had more than a few hours where I didn’t need to do anything! Not sure if I’ll put a whole nother build together like the ones I used to, but I might try to grab some footage of my RM with an Encore staff for contrast or fooling around with a pitch grenade stun combo and other odd ideas.
