After a pause, a figure in the distance appears walking over a hill. We see the hooded figure is wearing the Grey Warden colors. The two stop, looking at one another. They already kept track of the player characters and the choices in DAO, And I think they did the same in DAII. No, the real barrier to the Hero of Ferelden showing up again, beyond authorial reluctance to not want to add to an already complete story unless the addition really deserves it, is the fact that there was a wide variety of voice actors dedicated to the Warden in DA:O (30+, if you can believe that) and some of them (e.g. the late, great, Robin Sachs) have already passed away.

Landis963 Possible Spoilers... You have been warned! With the Voice Actor issue, that can be remedied down from 30+ to 10 at most as their are only 3 races and about 7 origins (2 Dwarves, 3 Elves, 2 humans) and we can double up on voice actors for some of these roles. I don't think an Elf male should be voiced by three different actors if the elf is from the Alianage, a mage or a Dalish. We can have 1 voice for a male Elf, 1 for the female. The Main Protagonist could have more but the Warden needs a few. And the main protagonist can be something like what they did in DAII. And the Warden is always doing something. So why not fold him in like they did in this game with Hawke. It seems like having Hawke in the game could be a test. I would love to have this happen. And spend 100s upon 100s of hours trying to get the perfect team... Who can tank, who can heal, who can DPS... what they did.. their specialties. Everything.

Lmar daggerwolf He stays faithful, but there was a bug in Dragon Age 2 and Zev's romance flags weren't importing correctly so he didn't "remember" being romanced in DAO. You could only repair those flags in console in order to get the right cutscene which was very touching, he stayed faithful and if your Warden died he was still mourning after all those years.

I remember tearing up when i sacrificed myself because i refused to cheat on her or let my best friend die. It broke me... i mean my character... to abandon her and break her heart like that. That sacrifice gave so much weight to my actions in the game and to the relations i had built. That is how you make good romance, that is how you build characters, That is how you build a story. I will never be able to play that game and make different choices, for it may alter the best memory i ever got from a game, a game that will always have a place in my heart.

I'd definitely like to see a DLC where you play as the Hero of Ferelden once more and either continue in your search to find a cure for the calling or deal with the internal conflict in the wardens hinted at during the epilogue.

Honestly a DLC like that *would* be nice. One problem is though that it's essentially unplayable for people who's Warden died at the end of Origin. Even with that outcome many people prefer keeping what they reaped, so that DLC wouldn't make sense unless it forcefully changed the outcome of the finale while scanning their Origin save files.

Knowing what happens to female Wardens (or women in general) who succumb to the darkspawn blood makes it especially poignant to me that Leliana is so protective of her Warden. I can imagine how a romanced Leliana would be beside herself in anger and worry for her Warden (male or female) over the events of this game, and all the more if her love is fighting to be spared the horrible possibility of that fate we learned in Origins. Makes me want to go back and romance her with a female Warden.

Welp, either I screwed something up, or there's a glitch somewhere in either The Keep or the PS4 version of the game itself, because I got the War Table mission to Locate The Hero Of Ferelden without ANY prompting from Leliana, and I DID romance her, this dialogue sadly innaccessible as a result I imagine. In fact, my Warden was even a Female Suranna, just like yours Fluffy! Oh well. Hmm that makes me wonder... If you romanced Leliana in Origins, she did know where the HOF was all along, just as Varric knew where Hawke was... I know they probably did not contact them to keep them safe but still, one thing makes me a bit mad (and laugh maybe)... Why is Cassandra pissed at Varric for not telling about Hawke, ready to throw a table at him, but she's pretty much ok with Leliana being so secretive? 😅 Bioware, plx... My headcanon for my dalish elf warden is that he is more about self preservation and doesn’t care about the chantry or the mages and templars. So even if he was asked- he already saved the world, gluing order back together is someone else’s problem. He didn’t even want to be a warden. His next step is to cure the calling and then live the most normal life he can with Zevran. Or to track down Merrill out of vengeance (upon hearing of his old keeper’s death). You best believe he’d destroy every ounce of the mirror.

I’m playing playing origins, 2 and inquisition at the moment and I just making a map with all the events. So my warden was an female elf, grey warden, champion of Redcliffe and hero of ferelden, who was in love with Leliana. Gift her a nug when they were in Orzammar, that presumably became Fufi II in dragon age inquisition (?) And then Leliana says this. They are still in love and engaged, after ten years but can not meet each other so easily. I’m hoping so much for the two to meet each other again, maybe in DA4 but who knows (?) ( Minor Spoilers below if you have not played through the entire game of DA:I yet. ) Have played through DA:O and DA:A. I really enjoyed playing The Warden more so than The Champion or The Inquisitor. Not that the last two are bad characters in the stories given but I really would like to continue the story of my Warden I made in the first installment of the series. Even with all the DLC they gave for DA:O and DA:A I still wanted more from that character. Still do. With some luck Bioware will make another DA game that returns to it's roots of the Wardens since they didn't even have a playable Warden in DA:I. Really disappointed me that I have yet to play my Warden again or even see another Warden available to play as in DA:I.

I don't know why, but I didn't like Origins until I finished it. I couldn't get into the game play or the whole silent character thing. I was going to be an Elf female and romance her because she was so sweet, but I ended up being the queen with my human by romancing Alistair. I liked her in Origins and 2, but she seemed too bold in Inquisition. It wasn't until I did her personal quest that I recognized her kind heart from Origins. I think this provides a look at that kindness.

In the other dragon ages, lilianna was sweet, maybe naive, she is just out right scary in inquisition. Cold and calculating, and would cut your throat in a second if she believed it was the makers will.

You make her that way. If you lecture her at Haven about how wrong it is to kill a betraying spy, she doesn't become the Norman Bates of the Inquisition. If you don't say anything in Haven and she kills the spy, things get uglier with her from there.

There's the Dragon Age Keep that can allow you to basically remake your playthroughs of origins and 2 that would basically be close to how it would be if you imported your save. Or you could buy inquisition for the PS3, cause it also came out for that.

what would vbe awsome is a remake of origin but with da:i graph,gameplay and combat i know its a lot of work because they have to re-imagine orzammar and denerim but most of all ferelden as a whole..sometime returning to the source of success of an IP can help revive a company

In Lelianas, Morrigans and Alistairs romance, the Warden is looking for a Cure for the Calling. Which is why noone can find him/her. Leliana still write letters but thats all. The only one still traveling with the Warden is Zevran, thats because Zevran and the Warden were seperate in DA2s time.From what i remember, if shes Divine, at the end credits of Tresspasser it states that the Warden returns to her i believe.

+NEO Sapien You can create your character by selecting a face then changing the looks. Leliana is a lot more fun in DA:O then she is in DA:I. She's a keeper. As far as DA:I there should have been a choice.

You do realise that it WILL be a new hero for DA4? it's been a new protagonist for every DA game so far and it works due to the fact if you don't like a particular protagonist or you feel the character in question was a waste of a potential better protagonist *cough* Hawke *cough* then you don't have to play as them for the rest of the other game's.

They are two different things, much like having a calling to the taint is even more different still. The taint is the poison from darkspawn blood. The calling is what wardens feel when the taint is finally overcoming their bodies. As for having a calling to the taint... well Isabella could probably explain that for you better than I.

Leliana is the DA character with more plot relevance.She is in a specific Dlc in which she is the Star.She is in DA2 and DAI and also in the last Dlc and she know a lot of people in Thedas .Plys she can become very important the new Divine.She is The canon romance for my Warden king who has as girlfriend lover this wonderful Divine.Ichoosed her since DAO because i nwver felt any appealing Morrigan ahe was obviously too mysantrhopic for my tastes and without the same experience of lite and the world of Leliana

ChickenQuy No. In Origins you're 'The Hero of Ferelden' by the end of the game (A Grey Warden) but in this game you're the Inquisitor. I was hoping this game would allow us to have our old Warden's in the party with our main character in this game but he/she (depending on who you made in Origins) is only referenced.
