I felt like the logical thing to do is to hand him the fake dagger before try to persuade him just in case…you don’t really want to gamble when the whole world is at stake. But I understand why they didn’t do that, can you imagine. Solas: now my life force sustains the veil. Rook: Actually…can you do it again but with this dagger instead? Solas: ಠ_ಠ

The best ending. I liked the Qunari in the first two games, and the Arishok was well written in 2. Kirkwall was an utter shit hole so I empathised with him. I also couldn't stand Isabella, she was the earliest "modern" character I remember in these games. Bioware writes a lot of "smug" or smart arse characters, but Alistair, Zevran etc often have reasons for being snarky pricks, and they usually face consequences for their attitudes. Isabella was the first major sassy tough girl that escapes consequence and accountability and it seems more and more characters were introduced like her

The Qunari were so cool, its a shame they havent gotten to be more interesting in recent times. So much waisted potential

In hindsight along with Veilguard lore-reveals, Corypheus was just a tool for the Evanuris, which is sad as fuck. But then again, the lore-reveals also disprove almost everything all the major cultures of Thedas believe... what a joke...

It does bring tears to my eyes when Gaunter gives Geralt the knowledge on how to make Ciri happy; it shows that despite Gaunter's limitations with Ciri he was willing to have this reward on the table to aid a loving father. When all is said and done, Gaunter's nature is not so black and white as we thought and Geralt should be more grateful towards him. The price for helping Ciri is a good one.

BioWare certainly isn’t perfect, but between this conversation and the cutscene after Haven is destroyed in Inquisition, they put together some of the most memorable and beautiful and heartbreaking moments in gaming

Taash was incorrect. Solas had a shade of Mythal he could’ve talked to after her death. Plot hole. Even if he chose not to speak to her, she still was there, which makes it even weirder that he didn’t say a word. As for the rest-man those Evanuris had terrible dialogue. Just awful. Save for Solas, who is the only decent VA. And the meetings were just as bad. Repeating what the memory already showed, like the player is a stupid child.

i’d like to think harding wakes up with a start in the lighthouse at some point remembering this moment and going OHHHHH- SHIT-

You know, I feel as though if Sheperd controls the reapers, he would have access to all the genetic material for cloning. And even if that material is no longer preserved, he could take the samples from Javik to resurrect a extinct race. Because I doubt the rest of the Galaxy, outside of reaper technology, even have the means for cloning. And if they do have the means, they wouldn't think to use it. And Javik might not allow them. And all they have to do is use the prothean pillars to acquire any knowledge or secrets that protheans had.

Years later come Veilguard and non of this ever happened.

For Male Shep: Jack has the most emotional and real romance. Such a broken and Guarded woman taking a chance on you. Tali is sweet and girl next door feel. Ashley seems generic. Liara grew up the most. Nieve girl trapped in a bubble, awkward with queues. To information broker that stole your body to bring you back. To Full woman coordinating effort behind the scene. Having a real sense of how the war is going as reports come in or don't come in. Liara is the best hope for Shepards legacy to survive. Shepard is such a bad ass, liara might be the first Asari to produce a Human baby

I didn't even know Hancock and McDonough were brothers when I could still play the game(Fallout 4 was my younger brother's game, and I moved out). I didn't ask Hancock about him knowing McDonough when they were kids, so I didn't get the dialogue about them being brothers. It sucks.
