You can do many travels before triggering the destruction of Lothering. Just don't go recruiting for the allies and if you have the DLC's, you can do then first. Like the plate my char is wearing, it is from Warden's Keep, I did Stone Prisoner before Lothering got overwhelmed by darkspawn.

You leave Lothering for the party camp but that's not the real one. It is part of the cutscene, But from there you can go back to Flemeth's Hut and then to the real party camp where the DLC quest givers are. Then you can go back to Lothering after doing the DLC's. Lothering will be unavailable only after you start recruiting allies.

I have the DLCs and they don't pop up in the map after getting Morrigan. Do you have to be in lothering first before they pop-up? Cause I thought once you leave lothering, you can never go back.
