got to say i think if the circles were less militant and more in line with Rivain circles you would not get shit like DA2 and the fall of kirkwall

Loved this. If i were in this world, Rivan would be my first pick.

the details at the end about the qunari stepping to the negotiating table in response to the volume of civilian casualties, and the remaining rivaini bearing the brunt of the chantry violence without bringing the qunari back into it, was extremely fascinating. it’s a strangely moving detail, i wonder why as well.

@@loreuniversity895 that's a relief, for me especially, as I'm a fanfiction author, and since quality Lore Videos are hard to find I'm often forced to rely on the fandom or books which didn't quite convey things as well as a lore video might.

May be a small nitpick, but it seems Rivain has mostly Irish-Gaelic names for its towns, which is a bit odd. If it follows the pronunciation of Gaeilge, wouldn't Diarsmuid be pronounced "Deer's-Mid"? Hmm, though there is a bit of Welsh in the town names, too, so perhaps they are just going with a "Celtic" theme for the country.

So according to a QnA on the BioWare Discord the Dalish elves where able to create settlements in Ravain. Obviously we will need to wait for Veilguard to come out but given this among other new information will you be doing update lectures?
@loreuniversity89510 күн бұрын
Interesting! I might do some form of updated video in the future or a longer video on the Dalish elves specifically.

Maybe i just missed it ... But how are Seers coming along with Qun?
@evilpac232710 ай бұрын
I'd say they are such a vital part of their culture that not even the win could get rid of them. After all, the chantry couldn't either.
@Shadowpack9510 ай бұрын
The Qun is very Black and White with little wiggle-room and respect for other cultures. Its either Convert or die and all magic is dangerous and needs to be contained, most Seers probably end up just like other Saarebas the second they join the Qun
@greenfrogbad7 ай бұрын
@@evilpac2327They were, and are tolerated for strategic concerns. Were the Qunari to invade Thedas in force, without the disunity within the Triumvirate as we've seen multiple times in the serise, and hold enough territory long enough to begin mass conversions across multiple nations, their forebearance with the seers would end.
