Any talk of goty with this is laughable to me. Gameplay at best can be described as a weaker version of final fantasy 16 but then you have worse writing, worse voice acting and nothing close to the insane eikon battles ff16 had. And FF16 didn’t even sniff goty last year. There are indie titles that deserve the accolade more than this does

@@rohanmubashshir4774 I played both, finished both at almost 100%, and I can say he is right. In fact, FFXVI and Veilguard are very similar on their take on their own saga, except Veilguard add the progressism.

Definitely should try Baldur's Gate 3 if you want a real roleplaying experience that's hit the mainstream. Definitely get it on PC if you can.

Disagree. Personally i found it "mid" until the first big battle with the wardens. Then the story really ramped up and i couldn't put it down. Is not as much an rpg as a cinematic action game with a few significant choices that affect the game. When i came to terns with that, i sat back and enjoyed the ride. It was 10/10 for me by the end.

@@mooddood4570 No, it's perfectly fine. By now i'm starting to think that all those weirdo's with strong opinions that didn't even touch the game to begin with are the real losers here. It's a good although somewhat generic light rpg, a 7. It's polished, the action gameplay is servicable, the story is generic but nowhere near as bad as they try to make it look (as if the previous DA's weren't generic, i mean they take all fantasy tropes that have been long established way before, the world design and building is better than anything DA has done before in my opinion. The woke stuff can be annoying, but in my 20 hours so far i literally had only one real instance of woke messaging.

To be honest, one of my favourite games last year was Starfield, and that game got sooo much hate that it broke my heart, but it didn’t stop me from putting hundreds of hours into it. To us, there are games that keep us alive and games that we live for. Don’t throw it all away because some asshole like me doesn’t like the one that you may love. If you love it, play it and appreciate it. You are loved. Gaming is our escape. The only thing I ever want you streaming is your love and appreciation for what gets us excited to get home after work or what gets you up in the morning every day. Stream your love for the games that bring you joy, even if it’s this one. Talk to me. What’s wrong man? I don’t want you feeling this way.
