This had me in tears because of how accurate it is. The dragon is my main totem/spirit guide. This is dead on, especially with how afraid we can become of spreading our wings and flying from the cave. During a psychedelic mushroom trip I had a transformational experience where the 'dragon' energy come up my spine and into my throat and filled my voice, my chest and my whole body.. I like the cut of your jib, Jordana. Although I've never resonated much with the fantasy genre, I've always felt that my strongest totem is Gryphon and, just last night, I was inspired to write a brief fairy tale (sort of) about a dragon. Then, today, I was having all these thoughts about setting goals and being resilient -- which I mostly associate with the Capricorn archetype, but, -- then a couple other things brought dragons to mind so I looked them up and it said "[clear goals, fortitude, leadership, etc.]". Anyway... I'll post my fairy tale for anyone who finds it here. Also, are you a Cancer, by any chance (if you read this and feel like answering)? I get that vibe and I like them so much. :) I'm a Scorpio with a TON of Uranian energy. The Monster and The Maiden The recipe for greatness must be followed - to the letter! - or what results will be truly disastrous. Lacking a grain of tenderness (small as a mustard seed), the most powerful souls will turn the most tyrannical. Only granting this "minor" ingredient, a perfect monster may transform into the noblest steed. The virtue of an innocent is to offer this gift of gentle affection; like a child, without sense enough to be afraid, who stands on her toes, and holds up the frailest, white lily, to the smoking nostril of a fire-breathing beast. Purity such as this is the grace of which miracles are made. Even if he should rage, and swallow the poor thing whole, - since dragons are often made furious by the softest displays, more readily than by the most vicious sneers of a swaggering conqueror (so deeply do the sweet things strike into their miserable guts) - even then, he would only vomit her up, and she would dance away, giggling, convinced it was some kind of play; as he would be left to brood over something so oddly inconceivable to his crooked conceptions of the world. Wow, okay,.... I wrote that when I was only a few minutes in, because I'm impulsive... I didn't relate to the money thing. Like you, I've had hang-ups around money. I have a real ascetic streak, actually; I've fantasized about living like Saint Francis or even Anthony of Egypt (literally, retiring to a cave in some remote corner of the world, LIKE A Dragon!?). But then what you said about knowledge as a form of wealth rang true. I collect aphorisms and I've even written a book of original ones. I write more almost daily. I love paradoxical wordplay. Dragon?! And my interest are wildly obscure. I'm always puzzling out mysteries and hardly anyone knows what I'm talking about when I describe how psychology and mysticism and art and religion intersect (Religion is the epitome of poetic license, Jordana!)... I crave that dialogue you mentioned, but my whole family thinks I'm nuts because I see conspiracies and my values are so out of step with this culture and I have the spirit of a reformer, crying in the wilderness. It's hard to find people I can connect with... I'm constantly learning, like you said, although my memory, like Montaigne's, is a sieve... And the princess! I found her. She loves me! I can't believe she's real. Just like you said, so refined in her manners, so calm (she meditates) and lovely, Venus in Taurus Trine Neptune!

I saw a dragon cloud, early in the morning... Not a cloud that looked like a dragon, but a DRAGON CLOUD, with wings that were the shape of old battle axes and even had a star dead center in its eye cavity... What could this symbolize??.... I've been in this place with friends and loved ones before as well, so I know how very hard it is to take the risk that if we *don't* help, they will fail. Sometimes they do, and it is very, very hard to watch. But if we keep rescuing them, then they never learn to take care of themselves, and that is the skill on which confidence, determination, and success is built. I've also been on the other end of the spectrum, where I expected other people to rescue me. It was not until everyone who promised to be there for me deserted me, or they were simply unable to help, that I was *forced* to find my own strength and succeed. Everything of which I am most proud in my life was made possible by the fact that there was no one to rely upon but me; it is one of the experiences in life for which I am most grateful. I am literally sitting in my mountain home looking out over the forests, a home I built myself and paid off in only a few years bc I didn't want the bank to ever be able to take it. If you do a little research on the Dragon sign in Chinese Astrology, you'll learn a great deal about what it would represent as a totem for you. Since each animal in Chinese astro is divided into different elemental groups (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water), focus on the one of those that really FEELS right to you. Im Noticing the Snake is way too big to be a snake, plus I can see the wings in a pic from a few years back. Black jaguar, fire dragon, Raven. They are five or six y/o. Thank you for this video! I think Owl and Snake brought me to here. I've always felt like a combination of those totems and this dragon video seems to have have filled in many missing aspects not covered by the other two. I can instantly see a person's vulnerabilities and weaknesses (both physical and emotional) and can either build them up or tear them down with a few sentences. I also do this to myself at times. It is something I need to work on because I have destroyed people emotionally over a minor argument as easily as breathing and the repair work wasn't always easy. A couple people even transfered schools during an especially ugly occasion. On the flip side, I can be a ray of sunshine and make that same person's day just as easily. I was also a student mentor and helped shy international students ajust to western culture and feel welcome/valued. It seems like I have a connection with both the destructive and nurturing aspects of fire according to this video. I certainly have a lot of owl qualities and serpentine characteristics, but this seems to fill in many if not all of the remaining qualities those don't cover. Especially the need for solitude, being trapped in a metaphorical cave and that need of being surrounded by/hording fancy things and people! Are you going to write a dragon book?

Charmai is my main guide, she has a english accent. She is a purple and black dragon. She is purple from her head down to her waist. Then she is all black from her lower waist to her back legs and down to her tail. She always talks to me throughout my day. Sometimes cheers me up when I have a hard day. She always helps someone if they are having a hard day. Yes, she does talk to other individuals too. I told my coworker about this. Of course the skepticism was on his face. Then I started to describe her as a human. She can go back and forth from human to Dragon. He said he had a dream. With the exact same woman talking to him. The woman was trying to get answers out of him.She was interrogating him to see how he was throughout his day. She was being playful about it by my coworkers word. She is Caucasian. Her eyes change like a mood ring. Her eyes are usually blue. Sometimes a bluish purple. She has black hair. She likes putting highlights in her hair. Usually purple. Also not to forget the dragon horns that are on her head. Also long purple ears.

I'm actually working on a Jaguar video as we speak :) However, I'm not certain it would assist you in interpreting your dream; those symbols are pretty specific, and it sounds like your dream is less about the jaguar and more about the story each of those symbols is telling in combination with each other (For example, the fact that you're talking about a *purple* crystal being put on your *left* leg is quite significant). Don't discount the jaguar completely, as it is important, but make sure it's not the only part of your dream that you focus on when you look for the meaning. There are some great dream dictionaries out there that might help you examine each of those symbols separately to help you understand what the dream was communicating to you. this is super interesting! i was trying to understand the concept of treasure in my case. there is a certain connection to wealth, joy and freedom. but! im finding myself in a situation where im striving to unfold or discover the treasure (or the substance, soul substance) of humanity putting itself into a societal system that is so much connected with conditions, values, stress, pain. somehow there is an underlining power in this structure that is much more interesting for my soul as a dragon than having a treasure of money and wealth at the moment. i don't understand all of whats connected to my situation yet. but whats also interesting is: there are two dragons in my, on the way of merging together. the black one is super focused on unleashing the power that lies in humanities survival pattern and the other one, white and clear, im nearly forgetting its character, because its the one that was joining me first, about unconditional love, and what it means to see the hole world as a place where everything is similarly valid because god created everything in the highest idea of love. jordana thank you for your videos, it gives a platform for more clarity!

As for the "why's" behind why humanity is where it is at present, you might consider embarking on a study of astrology (a Dragon-esque science to be sure!). Everything we are experiencing just now can be understood quite clearly through the movement of the planets. It's a very comforting field of study, because even when it looks like that absolute worst is happening, or that *people* are at their absolute worst, it's easy to observe exactly *why* this is occurring, and what is intended to blossom on account *of* it. There are a lot of very wise astrologers out there, but my favorite is Steven Forrest; I have most of his books in my library. Online, there's also a gal who goes by AstroButterfly (this is the name of her website as well), and she writes really detailed - but still easy for a layperson to understand - descriptions of astrological events and what they are creating. I think I'm a dragon person. I think my dad was as well. That heart burn thing hit me hard! My dad had heart burn so bad and couldn't take anything for it and what you said goes along with a theory I had felt about it. Thank you so much. I've also been the person who is okay with being the shoulder to cry on but also getting very frustrated when they don't want help. I've always been obsessed with dragons. My dad had passed away and left me like 7 dragon/wizard puzzles which I had assembled over the covid shutdown which was very cathartic. One of the puzzles was a dragon sitting in his cave on a mountain of gold. I never even considered it BECAUSE I love dragons so much (there are 5 toothless plushies in my house) 😂😂😅 I feel spirit is like FINALLY lololol thank you so much! I appreciate you immensely! Amazing analysis. But did this mythical beast actually once exist? It's been in western mythology, even Persian mythology, and many others. It leads me to believe that in history beyond recorded time, they existed. I enjoyed your analysis of them. Does the Chinese symbolism differ much? Thank you so much for the kind words! I read an interesting book last year called The Science of Monsters by Matt Kaplan, who discusses theories about where our conception of monsters came from. One thing he spoke about that I hadn't considered was that when ancient cultures found animal skeletons belonging to animals they didn't recognize, they may have made up stories about what those animals were. So Dragons may have been their answer to dinosaur skeletons! I love the way so much of who we are is the fruit of the stories we tell, so this notion just tickles me pink. But who knows? Perhaps there really *were* dragons way back when! As for similarity to the Chinese dragon, there are *some* similarities, but more differences, beginning with the Chinese dragon's control over the weather and association with royalty. Thank you!! Dragon is my lifelong totem/friend. I'm the year, season, month, and hour of the dragon. I've always been drawn to them since I was little. But very specific attitude; noble and wise. I have many statues and figures, but they are carefully picked. Only a couple years ago did I become aware of a real presence of something/someone spiritual inside. I know he's western with four legs and wings, black talons/horns...at first I thought he was green, but he's more of a green, but with blue and gold sheen when he moves. The money thing is so true. @_@ My inner fire is basically coals right now. I feel pretty miserable and directionless. I'm becoming the hermit dragon you were talking about.

When clients are in that directionless space, I usually ask them to think about something that they would love to do (no matter how small!), but they always find excuses for. For example, "I would love to try dance lessons"....but "It's too far away," "I don't have a partner", "It's too expensive", "I don't like how I would look in the clothes", "I'm afraid I'll mess up", "It's too expensive..." and so on. You may indeed be in a space in which you are being asked to go into hermit-mode to connect with some part of yourself that you've been unable to explore otherwise, but if there's anything, even a small thing, that stirs those coals and provides even the smallest spark of energy and excitement for you, go after it!
