DB Daima really has the sense of adventure. They have to go to the third demon world, then the second demon world, and lastly the first demon world to face the Demon King. It's really perfect way to do the adventure, since it prevents the idea of Goku and others just flying super-fast straight towards Gomah.

I'd say these first Daima episodes have been a lot better than the first Super episodes. So far this is much better than farmer Goku, Vegeta in a kids ride and retelling a whole ass movie. Imagine if Daima had to retell entire Broly and Superhero in its first 30 episodes.

Another reference to GT is when in the end of the episode the guys that attacked goku stole glorio's spaceship kinda like what happened in GT when in planet Imeka at some point they stole goku&co spaceship. The episode are pretty slow but so far i'm enjoying daima a lot more then Super.You can clearly see that this isn't a soulless cashgrab like Super but they actually had fan and passion in doing these episodes,as said,so far my only complain is that the episode are too slow. I hope we'll see goku turning into ssj in episode 5 and getting ssj4 or something similar in episode 34-35.

If you hated the Black Star saga in GT, then I can see why some might hate Diama so far. I am not one of them. It reminds me so much of early DB and GT with the cozy, fun adventure to new places and strange Toriyama creations that I'm far more engaged than I was with Super. And I've been rewatching both DB and GT alongside Daima, so the similarities are even more apparent.

With all due respect, I don't think they improved on GT much. Honestly until they nerf the Dragon Balls to not trivialize everything in the series I don't see it possibly being an improvement. Even as a comedy I just don't think it's as funny and it replaces character dynamics that was shown in the first two episodes of GT with lore dumping.

Not to say people don’t like gt. I mean. Super Saiyan 4 was cool. But. It’s just the story. They could have done a lot better. They went to space. They could have gotten creative with the characters and villains in space. Instead we got a pervert that turn little girls into dolls. And 3 guys that sing and dance. Slight love mainly hate... the animation looks alot better, you can tell they have taken time and we are getting some lore. But at the same time the chibi aspect for me is cringe. The warp fish realm is just a no... Baby popo can't exist as he is a clay doll that kami made and even new born was full size 😆 Namekians being deamons was a big stupidity for me because why did they escape in every dimension and live peacefully apart from one yet no one from the planets ever mentions their evil ways, so was frieza rite to kill them all as they were evil demons... I dunno I can go on but I'll let the series play out and see if it pays off because for me atm... it's a 4/10

This show feels like when Toriyama was making Broly and they had to cut it down for the movie. There was so much more material we missed out on. This is more material than a movie but less than a series. It flows so seemly into the next episode as if it’s meant to be binge watched. Ima watch it each week then once we get all the episodes ima watch it all at once.

Goku is not dead after the Buu Saga because Old Kai, a powerful entity in the afterlife, transferred his life force to Goku, essentially reviving him after he had previously died during the fight against Majin Buu; this allowed Goku to return to Earth and continue fighting

Honestly...This show is too childish in every way possible. Every character design is childish, they are all so roundish chibi like, the demon world looks friendly like my little pony world, the demons look like a joke. Goku, who's supposed to be an adult around the age of 40, has just been made younger. But only when it comes to his body, yet he is acting like a child. He's acting like classic goku. Why can't they make a show that is appealing to every age like DB and DBZ was. In classic he also was a child, but it wasn't being written that childish at all. Why is every anime these days looking so chibi childish -.- every character has to look young and soft. This anime is surfing on nostalgia so hard it's embarrasing.
