I love the implication that since Mr Popo is a demon - if he knew about the healing bug prior to coming to the Living World he could've taught Korrin on a recipe on how to homebrew a product with similar healing traits hence that's the origin of the Senzu Beans. THAT IS SO DAMN COOL

Daima keeps getting better and funnier with each episode. Now those Medi Bugs bring a lot of possible scenarios to the mix, especially a complete different fusion from Gogeta or Vegito.

One of the most interesting things in this episode was that Glorio had no idea about Ki and this calls back to Episode 1 where Gomah was confused by all the energy attacks. I don't know why no demon has figured out Ki yet but it will be fascinating to see if Glorio and Panzy could learn to use Ki attacks. Also one of the best background details was when Goku was drinking at the fountain the fish living in the water was very grumpy at being disturbed.

So yeah, Glorio is getting more and more sus. Especially that smile he gave after he manipulated Goku into going after the DB. I'm hoping the combat stays like it is now rather than the beam struggles we're used to in DBZ. I much prefer these corographed fights. There more dynamic and just look awesome.

This feels like OG Dragonball to me. Although it's not as much of a comedy OG Dragonball was. Another think I really like about it is that I feel bad for Daburah. It seems he was a decent ruler. He wasn't overtaxing the inhabitants it seems. Tooo bad the Dragonteam disposed of him. Maybe they'll revive him with the Demon Realm Dragonballs!?

I also love how they’re taking smart advantages of Goku’s nerf to allow other characters to get more screen time and action. Even if Shin isn’t doing as much compared to Goku and Glorio, I’m already invested in his relationship with his siblings and want to see more of it unfold

I have a suspicion that they are also establishing a conflict between Supreme Kai and Glorio. Shin still does not trust Glorio, and there are several shots in the episode where you can tell something is wrong when Glorio and Shin are talking.

My honest guess is that we'll either get a Piccolo & Shin fusion, or we're get a new Goku & Vegeta fusion with demon characteristics. I just like the way Goku fights. Finally actual choreography - from utilising environment to using all tools and moves in his arsenal. Really makes me excited for the inevitable fights with three guardians. Also wonder when Chekhov's gun that is bugs they bought will fire.

I have to wonder if the Innkeeper was scared of the gun or if the gun represents Glorio's position or authority. We haven't seen any other guns since. The thugs in this episode has staves they fired like rifles but they weren't guns in the traditional sense. I could be overthinking it though.

To be completely fair about the pacing, I'd say it's a lot faster than the usual Z/Super pacing because both those series, especially the original Z, are MOLASSES when it comes to fights, whereas Daima moves between plot points lightning quick in comparison.

Goku being shown as an actually skillful martial artist and the animation backing it up is doing wonders for his character. His fighting style feels like an actual growth of his ability and strength from OG DB and not just power level higher, beam beam, big boom anime rule for cool fighting. Hoping they keep this direction up. I want to see more of Goku being a competent blend of Jackie Chan/Monkey King and can't wait to see how they show the fighting styles of Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, etc in a more grounded and skillful manner.

Every episode so far just feels so nostalgic yet fresh if that makes sense. The sense of adventure, the animation, it feels like old school DragonBall again. Goku's expression when he was happily hopping around was classic DB all over.

My hypothesis is that Shin’s potara earring is a white magic and the gas/air in demon realm has some black magic properties that cancel/weaken the white magic. It goes back again to Buu’s gas and him being a majin 魔人 from the demon realm.

Thus far, I've really been loving Daima. The show is such a new breath of fresh air that Dragonball has needed for a while. It's slower, takes its time, and lets us into a whole new world to explore. It's giving me the feeling of "Iyashikei". A calm healing effect after years of just fighting and action. Also, Shin and Goku's dynamic is really funny to me. Shin feels very much like the "mom" of the group. Can't wait to see the dynamic when the rest of the gang joins up with them.

really loved the couple feeling so much of toriyama's charm in them.(with how much dabura's such a respected figure/the mysterious figure in the preview love to see him be wished back to life considering the last we heard of him was being kept from returning to the demon realm in otherworld.) the sea of darkness gives me land of darkness vibes from the sonic ova,the sky seed is such a toriyama way of travel(/love to see bulma on those),now that i see it get law(one piece) from glorio just not much of a jerk as i'd say he's more straightforward than always the cool guy,tbh love to see others use the fusion bugs instead of just the saiyans(definitely could see a demon goku),actually like it has the bugs be reserves(whereas senzu beans even with the context always felt like a cheap way to get out of situations especially androids saga.)/felt really jrpg(pansy's similar in look to boquet from blue dragon) and sand land esque,lol the fish reaction to goku drinking his water & love the power pole's use here.

One thing no one's been talking about that I think might be essential to the plot is how in the demon world people seem to treat years to live like money. Gomah offered the namekian another thousand years to live if he helped with the earth dragon balls. And the bad guys in this episode stole years of life for those who couldn't pay with coins. They obviously don't care so much for the coins because they seemed to be asking a price majority people couldn't pay. I think the life energy they are taking will be important later on.

Well now that the fusion bugs were introduced we know for a fact they will be used, however I would like to see someone new fuse. Goku and Vegeta have already fused a ton. I'm also okay with Kibito and Shin going for it, yeah we already saw their fusion, but they haven't fought before.
