Ki isn’t his issue. Défense is. Bulla fixes his ki and stuff. His défenses and his gauge not been fast enough is why he’s not the best.

@@tbone2416 Bulla helps him come in with 100 Ki and gives a lot of Ki Recovery, but that doesn't do much when he loses all of his Ki every time he dares to breathe in the presence of most of the modern meta. He needs arts cost down or Ki gain per arts card used so he could better sustain his Ki every time _he_ is on the field. Doesn't help that Bulla gives the Ki Recovery buff on switch in instead of switching to standby, and that it lasts for only 15 counts, so unless you almost immediately double switch Super Vegeta is barely getting any of it.

Truthfully..I can see namek goku being a very good option vs super 17 now with extra damage inflicted and better defenses. Golden frieza as well..I mean he’ll still get smacked around by ugf but the extra damage to loe plus all these new buffs actually helps out

and the thing is that wording is different coz in this EQ it says "when enemy uses special move etc" and on goku & bardock its says "when getting hit by an enemy special move etc", so i guess it will reduce sub count by 3 and heal that 15% when enemy activates blue card etc and You'll be able to switch before getting hit?

The Goku equip does seem good for what it's trying to do but I really wish they had let him draw cards upon using green cards after the first time especially considering how hard it can be to even use that green card in this meta. I can't express the sheer amount of times I've used that green card and the combo immediately died because he didn't draw any cads even with the double card draw speed he gets.

I guess getting Nameku to 7 stars was a good thing after all. He's not an old LF or even a bad character, so this equip should make him possibly meta relevant depending on how the anniversary goes. The only character countering him right now is UL Gohan. Whenever Gohan finally falls off, Nameku value will definitely rise again.

Using namek goku with his plat and feetku means he's getting 60% extra damage always and 80% when there's a defeated ally. Call me crazy but pair that with his full-gauge ultimate and he might be able to one shot almost anyone in the meta. For sure he's one-shotting super 17.
