Than you, I was literally saying that and being like “bruh he was neutral, you can see the damage on the right side of the screen didn’t have an up arrow next to it”, and it wasn’t till 5 timer counts later that he got the type advantage box pop up on his screen. I’m seeing this more common and I just don’t understand why people don’t know how the game mechanics work(Goresh knows a good amount, which is why I watch him), like people keep thinking that Beast gohan is like 17, but beast doesn’t cancel attribute upgrades therefore you do more damage against beast than 17. “Buff effects” are different than “attribute upgrades”, and people don’t realize that. They also don’t realize that the new android 16 can cancel endurance on characters that cancel buff effects because his endurance is uncancellable for the 50 timer counts he has it…

He's not strong enough for this meta, as his kit doesn't provide enough for him to be as relevant as beast gohan or super 17 who can do a lot more with less effort. The lack of ki recovery and CutPen really hurt him, and the Lock-in doesn't work well with his gauge. A far better design would be to give him +70% ki recovery and Double CDS on entry and the the gauge gives him cover null, type neutrality and more CutPen

It does not make sense to give him a 2 second lock in when all his damage after he stays like 10 counts switched in. It's especially bad because his gauge resets everytime he switches out.

The issue with this Vegeta is he’s supposed to be ran with the new A16 who gives Greens for Vegeta’s gauge. He also covers his weakness to Blue units prior to his gauge proc. But unfortunately Cell Saga isn’t a team and A16 won’t have great synergy with Vegeta in terms of equips and bench options. Flawed release set up

I really think Super Vegeta is the worst designed summonable unit we've had in a while, he has his moments when his gauge is filled up. But at the same time we've had units in the past months where they're good/decent at all star levels. Where it feels Vegeta needs literally everything maxed to even be remotely decent. Of course that could change seeing where Cell Saga goes as a team but I really don't think it's a bright future for our favorite fraud Not so Super Vegeta

Vegeta is pretty decent but is too inconsistent to actually be good. And he takes way too much damage which is probably the biggest downside of the character. The fact that he’s healing is not a good enough reason to have both a garbage health stat and garbage defensive mechanics.

If I could change one thing about this vegeta I’d make the buffs he gets from his gauge stay until he switches out, if I had a second I’d add uncancellable endurance null to those effects, if I had a third I would give him a card when his gauge fills. I don’t mind him being a buildup character, I actually think his gameplan is really cool and fun, not just starting the battle with infinite cover null and damage is refreshing. But once he gets his gauge he should be absolutely dominant, not just a little better than recent characters on entry.

Hilarious people are trying to make excuses for this vegeta. This showcase does not look like something a top-tier unit in 2024 should be doing. Especially MAXED arts boosted. Compare him to any other top unit of recent and you can easily see how lacking this vegeta is. N yes i get he needs his gauge or whatever but still. Not saying hes a bad unit at all. But theres a big difference between him and other recent releases. Even worse 16 is arguably bettee than him as a featured Sparking unit.
