To further elaborate for those maybe confused; a "point" character in team-based fighting games (DBFZ, MvC, etc.) is a character who you set as the first member of your team. They're the character who can perform the best in regards to doing damage with assists (moves in which you can call in a member to the battlefield to perform a specific move), building meter (a resource for more tools and bigger damage), and setting your other characters up on the team. They are characters that most likely see the most play in a single game due to the nature of the role.

Your tier list is very interesting compared to other JP lists I've seen. Almost every God-Rank JP player booted Piccolo from their Top 10 since he was basically replaced by Pikkon outside of Regen, Pikkon is generally rated a little higher, 17 makes almost no lists because he can't be Zenkai boosted, and Vegito Blue is usually within the Top 5. It's like a mix of JP lists and lists I've seen from the US.

The thing people seem to be missing is that. They argue that goku isn’t 1# because there is beast and UVB around, which would make sense for any other yellow unit except Ui. Ui can survive UVB’s ult, an full combo from VB as long as his type neutral on switch is active. Ui can dodge anything vegito throws at him, even his blue which has the move forward action which ui can dodge with his Janemba’s mechanic. Ui, once a unit dies, will get a big buff and the most scary part is that he gets type neutral on ult. So the ‘strat’ people like to use against ui about purposely using his new mechanic will not work anymore since even reds can get one shotted. Ui can counter gohan’s main strat which is nuking people with blues. As long as you have his gauge available. Ui can destroy greens and blues on his blue card, which guess who would suffer the most by getting rid of both? UVB and beast since they both depend on their green’s and blues(mostly gohan). You combine those things together and ui becomes a monster. He can fight against the strongest reds in the game, having a good chance to win most of the time if played correctly. Like I don’t think the whole element color argument works with this particular unit.

I think they are both number 1, but you also have to consider that gohan destroys green cards constantly by using his green which takes ui gokus only way of cover null and you don`t necesary nead to hit beasts blue card against UI in the middle of a combo. You can also use beast gohans main as a snipe to Ui goku if used in the right time

Yet you forgot a tiny little detail, ui cannot get sniped as easily since he gains type neutral when he gets in as cover and mvp17 with his beautiful support can make ui survive a blue card quite comfortably. The thing is, sure gohan gets rid of goku’s cover null on green if the green is destroyed. Yet goku can either still has his new mechanic active as last stand meaning that even without cover null he can still snipe gohan with a type neutral ult with 20% damage cut to the enemy, not adding mvp17’s extra 15% once his gauge is up. Which would be 35%. But also Ui destroys both green and blue on his blue card. So if timed correctly, gohan cannot destroy my greens with his green if i land the blue on him. Also his blue wouldn’t work any ways as a snipe if ui still has some of his gauge up.

One thing ive seen with using beast and ui is that alot of ui players will get lazy and think that they are immune to blue cards and strikes because of the guage. The problem with this is that the opponent can just drop combo blue and bam one shot ui. All im saying is be careful and attentive when using ui. @@saitama...4959

@@saitama...4959 I mean yes with android 17 on cover change he could maybe eat it but thats first of all assuming that android 17 is on the team which not many people do, becaus UI is better on saiyans and no one protects 17 from all these green units or hard hitting units like beast or janemba. And Number 2 you are not going to try to snipe a UI goku that is cover changing or mid combo with Gohan. You just hit him with the blue card either with a drop combo main or in a situation where UI can´t switch. If you dodge a Ui strike card and you can switch into beast gohan after the dodge then you can just transform and then either blue card or rush

You can either run both LF jiren and zenkai LF ui, which are just optional because running evoku or even ui himself can cover 17 from greens. Strike ui then transform? You are assuming ui will be locked in before he gets switched with evoku or 17. You forget ui can also use an blue to clash with gohan’s and goku either wins or makes the clash neutral. Gohan needs his gauge full to destroy all cards of the opponent, so assuming you’re gohan hasn’t die by the time he needs to transform then his transformation won’t be doing anything. If you rush i there is an possibility i survive since 17 provides an additional 50% damage cut once the opponent uses an rush. Basically, 100% damage reduction to rising rush, type neutral combine with UI’s 70% damage cut that he gets when he gets in. That is if i haven’t even switched to evoku or 17 yet. 17 can literally reduce substitution countdown along side evoku.

I have been running Red Beast Gohan, the Tag Gammas, and Orange Piccolo for a while now and they work really well together. Even better than my GoFrieza, Ultra Vegito Blue, and Yellow Jiren(lol) team. Especially for someone who doesn't spend money on the game, so I only have so much summoning I can do. I just play regularly for those daily challenges and stuff like that. I'm hoping I can get Ultra UI Goku before it's over.

For me we could change places with UI and BeastHan and the opposite But i guess that it depends on your way to play For me UI has more utilities since he's a sniper in the match, and sometimes youre comboing and suddenly you just goes to him to surprise your opponent and they have already pressed to switch chars and then youre getting a Free ult+recharge 70% gauge But by the other side Gohan has an entire extremely strong kit He can restore vanish destroy blue and green cards and when he Transforms he is like a God in the field But in the end both are good units and eome players like one more than the other so okay

It is not that crazy when you realized how UI effected the meta. Namely, he killed Purple, which made Green stronger, which means Janemba has more counters. For example, Revival UI is seeing much more play thanks to pairing so well with Yellow UI and he's a good counter to Janemba thanks to his Range Blue post-revival and drawing Blasts off his Green pre-revival. Pikkon is also seeing more play thanks to the strongest Saiyan team being UI, Pikkon, and G/B.

i would argue that piccolo has more value in the meta than the gammas, because one of the main function of the gammas is the core breaker, which means the gammas need to be on the offence to get that core breaker, which mean you essentially cant use the gamas with the new Units, since you would be using the new units to deal damage and as a result not fill up the gammas guage in time. But piccollo i still see being used along gohan with either 17 or UI on the leader slot. essentially, even tho the gammas might be a better character in a bubble, their role has been replaced (there are better options to use). but piccollos still has a role( the only options that replace piccollo are pikkon and revival ui, and all three on almost the same level, revival being a bit below)

UI had a far bigger impact on the meta than Beast Gohan has. Namely, when Gohan dropped, the meta didn't really change outside Hybrids seeing more play. When UI dropped, he killed Purple. Which in term made Green stronger, that weakened Janemba's hold on the meta, and basically put Regen and Androids on life support since LF Cell is nearly unplayable and he was core to both teams. Right now, the meta is shaped around finding the perfect team for UI, or killing him.

For me beast and ui are interchangeable. Tbf I don’t have ui, but I really have 0 problems facing him. His gauge is pretty easy to work around(imo it always has been). I also do regularly one shot him with beast, even though my beast is only at 7 stars. ( without 17)

I mean the unit itself isn't busted, but their insane amount of tags and flexibility makes them better, you could throw them on any team and they'll support. Their pre revive is the most annoying part of the unit since you cant rush them or ult them, you'll just waste damage, after you pop their first life Gogeta can't do much if he doesn't catch you with the first combo (3x card draw and cover null if he has a green) The damage is fine, but any good unit like beast or UUI can tank it and heal up later.

I said this long back and no one listened. GF were always a joke and so was LF blue Goku. I was laughing when people were saying lf goku is gonna age pretty well😂 Any carry unit who cannot tank decently can never age well that's why GF, goku are dead. Janemba should've been dead uptil now but most of the players are brainless in the dbl community so they depend on the useless free ult. UI will also be dead soon. The only carry unit who's good from fest is Beast.

In the Europe region the main 3 you will see are GRR: OP, Beast and Pan. And then Ultra UI on reps. I still use Janemba on uni reps. You need a blue and a purple character. And Gofrie will make a comeback if there is a (red)Ultra Frieza.
