My unpopular opinion is that the game originals need more love. How about tag Shallot/Giblet? How about a Zahha unit that uses his overpowered orb for some of his animations? How about a tag Giblet/Bardock? What about a super saiyan god Giblet that transforms into his dark ki ssg form? Where’s Shallet? Even though there’s an entire story centered around these characters, Legends seems to ignore them most of the time.

Endurance is borderline useless now (even if you run into saiyans each match) but the fact that he's blue and his tanking ability for me makes him currently viable. Unpopular opinion: The community is ruining the game just as much as bandai is, they dont want ultras cos they are unbalanced but they STILL want more for some reason, the legends community will almost never be satisfied, even if the legends team listens to thier feedback (best example being the gofrieza buff)

It is still _entirely_ up to Bandai to make the decision that they think is best for _their_ game. They aren't children, no one has a gun to their heads, and it will never be 100% of the community that wants the game to go in a certain direction. And they can also listen to the community without going _full_ overboard into an idea. Ultras can be released and _not_ be broken (look at all the f2p Ultras on release, for example). Gofrieza could have been buffed and not have been extremely toxic (why do they still seal cards).

I would like a PVP mode that took away the rising rush mechanic and replaced it with something else. Keep the dragon balls, but instead of RR, you could get a random buff like 15% team heal or 20% damage for 10 counts.

17 is one of the greatest and healthiest releases for the game. He essentially rewards you for skillful play and is able to use the leader slot and help teams that need it. On top of the fact that he’s an LF and his animations are awesome.

The leader slot helps you out when the team you like only ever has like 1 or 2 usable units at a time. And also, just with how z and zenkai abilities and especially the older ones where it can be difficult to use units on a certain tag because even if they share a tag with the rest of the team, that tag isnt the one buffed by z abilities. I also miss the old lbrs like the ex only, or the certain release ones. The problem with event exclusives is that they are almost always the color that is weak to one of if not the strongest units in the game that you see in every match. I thought red 21 was really good when she came out, but that was during the time of ultra super gogeta. I hate fighting UVB so much more than fighting g/f.

That last comment about 17 had me flabbergasted. He doesn't reward you for losing he reduces the punishment of you losing with his unique gauge, healing, support, and deleting the enemies buffs making giving him the ability to be useful on any team in the leader slot. What he does isn't cancerous, it's called utility. Do you want to what's cancerous? What ultra VB does. Being able to lock your rising rush and remove your vanish just for showing up and having a green card that counters both strike and blast cards and drawing a free blue card when ever it connects. Oh yeah and he goes type neutral when he uses it. That is cancerous.

17 is kinda “P2W friendly” but only because he’s was on his own banner when reps and androids weren’t the most amazing, so people I don’t think summoned on him that much, then they returned him on a garbage banner and then cell post anni. Unless you used your stones with some level of foresight, acquiring 17 for a majority of players is very hard because the banners hes on.

Imo the only issue with rev piccolo is his weak disruption. I feel like if he deleted a card or maybe reduced ki a little he would be good. His disruption being only reducing arts power and card draw by 2x for 5 counts makes him combo food unless you’re opponent is deep into a combo.

51:00 Captain Ginyu isn't in PO because Frieza was already the PO at the time. And we knew that Frieza was the real big bad even before the Ginyu Force was introduced. It's like how Nappa isn't in PO because Vegeta was already designated as the bigger threat at the time. My real complaint is that Raditz isn't on PO despite Vegeta not being revealed until he was pretty much dead, and Android 19 and 20 not being PO despite Android 17 and 18 coming around after them (and not even fighting until the former two were dead).

the gamma's being immortal is a sentiment I share as well. With mvp 17 it's so hard to kill em. The defensive utility of the androids team combined with 20 percent sustained damage cut penetration that 17 gives to allies is what makes them a top meta threat. And ofcourse we have gamma's high blast card damage,17 has a strong ultimate. 17 actually being a strong endgame carry is a real thing. The double 80% vanish guage restore comes in clutch way too much in getting priority in the match. And to top it off when the gamma successfully land their preparation mode, it's gonna be very hard for the enemy to come back

He’s just a lot like the revival Blue Goku. He doesn’t really hit hard in either form, and is pretty frail. But unlike that Goku he supports and has some pretty nice anti rush and green card effects. He’s just disappointing compared to other revivals because they historically tend to get exponentially stronger after revival (i.e. Cell, Gohan, UI).

Unpopular opinions? Alright heres mine: no matter how you twist it, the gammas, LF Cell and UVB are WAYYYY more detrimental to the game's well being than Gofrieza. Why? Because they're broken units that buff a max of like 2 teams each. Gofrieza, however, allows INSANELY creative team building. I mean for fuck sake Gofrieza singlehandedly turned LOE meta.

Didn’t you disprove your own point here? Your saying that cell, gammas and UVB are detrimental because they buff 2 teams each, but gofrieza buffs every team? So wouldn’t that make gofrieza more detrimental? Also gofrieza is stupid because when used well they lock the opponent out of their rush for the entire match, so a ridiculous amount of healing and damage whilst being pretty tanky unless you run into a unit made to counter them and as you said can be ran on pretty much any team. The gammas are very very strong, but they aren’t locking your comeback mechanic for the entire match.

You cant really claim its single handedly because the reason its even possible is because of the zenkai units supplying support and zenkai buffs simultaneously, without those zenkais you arent running loe

Unfortunately, to put Goku and Freezer in check you need a character who has both anticover and antiendurance that cannot be canceled at the same time. we have already seen with kid goku that the non-erasable anti-cover alone is not enough. to this day I have no idea what went through theirs head during the rework of the character.

Here’s mine and it may not even be unpopular, but it’s the closest I have: Goku/Frieza are wayyyyy worse to fight than UVB. Lock in green cards, neutral on blue, heals, strike seals, and inability to rush makes this wayyy more insufferable to fight against.

Zenkai buffing allows to make units who might need a bit more stats to actually shine via the zenkai buffs, and situations like mono purple were good because it allowed for you to actually run one single color teams without feeling threatened by the enemy having a color advantage against it. When the game adds diversity its an issue but when its not diverse its an issue. Dbl community in a nutshell.

I know most people won’t agree with me but I really wish that Shallot was in top 3 but for different reasons. I wish the devs revamped the friend ship system for shallot and made each form great against different scenarios. Explain what you mean by ban? With me every match id fight lag switchers and dcers so what happens is connection gets lost with the opponent. After that i get a warning saying last match did not end properly so i get a time out of every pvp mode for an hour or more. By the end of the season i get 12 hour timeouts/ bans because it happens so often. I dont hack in legends, i dont care enough about the pvp to hack in legends yet im consistently punished with timeouts as if i am one and it takes the little joy i have left and crushes it

Im on a a none jail broken iphone so i can’t download mod menus and still like that on my phone to hack the pvp, plus i dont even want to in the first place. I first started experiencing this during the majin buu saga campaign and since then ive been getting timeouts if i fight a cheater. Toshi knows im not doing anything because legends hasnt sent me a single ban or report or warning from the main game saying if I continue to disconnect i will be banned. But it’s frustrating because i take a loss and lose rp and i cant play for like 1+ hours. The saddest part is i only use regen, i dont use toxic units or meat ride uvb constantly because im just trying to have fun. I get punished for playing because its constantly uvb goku freiza 24/7 and i get punished for winning because if i beat them they lag switch last second and i lose the match. I cant even count how many times i lf someone but still lose the match. And i cant even reveiw the replay half the time because it comes up with some bull shit error, i tries posting about it in the official reddit but it immediately gets taken down by the mods because my post is against the rules or something but I honestly dont know. Im trying to give this shitty game a chance and continue playing but it sucks ass when im putting in effort and not being rewarded simply because im not running the brain dead team. If i dont get a blue janemba or something in this campaign im probably never touching legends again because its really frustrating

Db legends unpopular The home screen ui is still a confusing mess to me, why is there no training mode, earning cc is to slow, theres too much material to collect, 100% a character is such a confusing hassle because u need alot of material to boost them and u have to be so lucky to pull multiple copies of that unit and even then the unit could still be bad, lower the story mode difficulty and explain how team building works

I don't agree that the 17 is unhealthy, but this guy is right about everything else: Unlike any other fragile unit with a gauge like his (except for SOH) he is viable at any point in time, considering the immense difference between damage you can deal and damage you can sustain, cause you just can have somebody else charge it for you. It's unfair that you have to eat hits with SOH to get his mid-ass gauge, while with 17 you can have a type advantage unit do that and still get all the buffs. That's his unique trait, but that's unfair. A ranged damage dealing supporting character is able to charge his insanely strong DEFFENSIVE gauge without taking a single hit. ULTRA GB cant's do that, ULTRA Broly can't do that. That's unfair. He's also right about the Leader Slot abuse. He literally has like 1 restricted ability in his kit (the green card buff, i think), but literally every team that doesn't need his help, could use him and make the team seem unkillable. OP is a mile away with 17 on his team vs without 17 on this team. ULTRA GB gets cut pen in his unique while ULTRA VB doesn't have for a reason. It's unfair that you can give tools to the character who never meant to have them. Not to mention the RR damage increase for the units that nullify endurance is just bullshit. How is that fair? He literally makes some units seem a lot worse (like Beast, who gets all of his buff removed by doing what he's meant to - Charged Gauge into a Blue Card) and some bad units (like OP) a lot better. This is unhealthy, cause he, essentially makes up most of the team's strength. There is a reason why no other character get uncancellable endurance (but Kid Buu). Cause it's too strong. There is a reason why every unit with a strong (or any) gauge have to charge it themselves. Cause it's too strong. There is a reason why not a single unit is able to give cut pen to the other units on their team. Cause it's too strong. There is a reason why not a single unit but 17 and Pan (among the once that are somewhat viable) are able to reduce sub count on command infinitely. Cause it's too strong. There is a reason why characters who can combo for a long time don't get infinite cover null that often. Cause it's too strong. The only downside to 17 is his stats. If he were to have to 260+ main offence he'd be an insane damage dealer. You only need to look at his kit once to conclude that he's overturned. Anyway, I don't think he's toxic or anything, I just think he's waaaay overturned, just in the way that are not as annoying as VB's kit, for example.

The animation quality varies so much that it is hard to feel motivated when piccolo has no movie lf, he literally doesnt do the spcl beam canon in orange form so why is that his lf. Or new namku has a similar lf to the old one. Buff roshi has to have a back pack for continuity. Even goku frieza has some animations that just dont happen in the episode so why is it used for the blue card.

I think gofrieza are better than uvb because first of all they have such a good teams and if you give them a lot of zenkai your cooked second thing is that I don't know why but every time I switch when I'm using tag character or switch to another character they lock it and it breaks the combo and gofrieza do a lot of damage uvb doesn't do alot I think gofrieza are more powerful but uvb is more annoying I have experienced this because i dont have gofrieza or uvb.and if you face uvb, name goku and gofrieza good luck. On the topic of 17 being cancerous, all the other units than give buffs when being hit dont have something than 17 does: remove buffs, heal you, build gauge and lock main ability OFF THE BATTLEFIELD. All other units need to be in the field in order to do what their kits lets them do, 17 doesnt have to, so the risk/reward of needing to take hits doesnt exist to him. While not "rewarding" losing, getting caught mid step by a blue or get stuck in a combo has less impact against you or its just straight up doesnt exist like goresh said when he says that the best RED UNIT IN THE GAME cant kill a YELLOW UNIT because of him, and the leader slot makes the problem worse because instead of locking out certain characters off teams, you can just run him, go frieza and trunks and guess what, rising rush becomes worthless to you.

Unpopular Opinion(ish?): The main driving factor making UVB toxic is the stupid vanish gauge removal on switch in. Yes, even the green card that enables floating in place until the enemy clicks a button wouldn't make him nearly as toxic without the vanish removal. It requires no skill to its application. It is _highly_ exploitable and leads to very unfair kills: LF Cell into UVB is one of the big annoying strategies I've seen that you just insta-lose a unit to unless they hard misplay. And his kit is already very good without it, so I cannot fathom why they thought giving him that effect was at all a good idea. I can deal with a near all countering green card, I can deal with RR and blue card sealing, and I can deal with team-wide unavoidable damage via his ult, but opponents that keep UVB in the back for that one time free RR if I don't keep juggling sub counts perfectly is the most annoying loop in PvP.

​@@takebandzIt's actually the user who's toxic and not the unit. Most GF users run UVB on leader slot just to rush. They don't know how to use VB nor GF, completely brain dead. If i talk about myself, i don't stand like a statue when i have the green in hand with VB, i want to land it skillfully to earn that blue card. Standing at the back or mid range doing nothing is just not fun.

@@VegitoRules1.0 definitely the unit 80% unit 20% player uvb mains get free rushes in their first combo green card that literally doesnt allow you to play the game stupid vanish removal hardest hitting ult in game endurance null type neutral rush which prepares him for a second rush because he gets dragon balls from it never ending cover null which you can just drop combo if it runs out the unit is aids man especially if you have him high stars ah high star uvb green card into ult is one of the most unfair mechanics in the game the ult alone is unfair cuz he gets it the first 20 counts of the game
