The first good EX iirc was EX Frost, since he apparently had sparking tier stats for the time(I hadn't played yet during that time, so that is off of secondary information). Then after, the EX Androids(GRN 17 and PUR 18) were relevant, then EX Fasha and Tora also were viable in the meta. Evil Buu was on another level, though. Those EXs were just usable. Evil Buu was a mainstay on Regen over blue sparkings. I think all the way until Super Baby 2 broke the meta he was Regen's designated blue.

I'm seriously hoping the next LF will be a fun, strong Regen unit, Regen is probably my favorite team but it's been almost unusable for what feels like an eternity, I just hope I'll be able to pull the Red Buuhan so I'll have the most modern version of the Regen team available to me whenever it can finally compete in the meta again.

I was around for Super Baby 2's release but I never really experienced that particular meta in full force so I never really got a dislike for the team. My introduction to Regen was LF Kid Buu and he's been my favorite unit ever since.

@@izanagi1541 thats true. Most teams changed over the years. GT was a ki generator with the SSJ4s and Baby giving buffs and synergizing together. Regen used to be a tanky team that was just purely sustain and almost always went to timer, but is now a team with some sustain and damage with utility. God Ki was recently a team that was more tanky and sustained based with Vados, but it’s now just damage and utility.

Another good thing about this buu people overlook is the fact that he has a completely silent sidestep, which makes it a lot more difficult to hit him sometimes. Truly a damage machine and in my opinion probably better than kid buu If you want pure damage
