He tanks really well, His damage is not crazy and I was hoping that his rising mechanic would be applied when we used the rising, but he with 17 and goku/frieza could force the enemy to not rush the entire match and I am good with that. With the low chance of faint he could have anti cover on Green card, but okay.

I think using him in Uni rep is actually counterintuitive cuz its impossible to rush that team. With the rising rush nerf as well it will take a long time in match for Jiren to get his good passives.

One of the better zenkais. Not broken or outstanding but good, but still the issue with like half his passive locked behind rush and they didn’t change it. And he also could’ve heavily benefitted from -10 to blast arts cost and like 3 or 5 counts of cover null on his green card. But I don’t even got him 7 stars so it doesn’t even matter🥲But I like the character and the unit

I think a lot of his power being locked behind a rush is good cus he technically prevents your opponent from rushing the entire match if u have 17 or gofrieza in there even with no gauge either u rush n make jiren a god or u don’t rush at all

@@adrxco6564 Well yes you do have a point, but you’re not always running those setups. Also, not everyone pulls or spends money to highly star characters. I remember when he came out there wasn’t much people rushing, but now it’s an even faster meta, even with the update and adjustments. People on high-average will RR when they get it, especially with VB or GB since they have that busted ass ability for no reason. But think when you’re using him, he can be good, but not great without his buffs, and he is more designed as comeback character, considering he heal can over 100% HP back, so you want his passive active.

@@the1n-onlydan826 I mean sure but RR just got nerfed and jiren also has 17 which also cancels buffs when u rush so unless you’re running him in an extremely random set up with no gofrieza or 17 then obviously he’s just gonna lose all his value from getting rushed even in his showcase u can see jiren technically just said no to everyone’s rush and I can agree that this is a faster meta but this is probably one of the metas where players rush the least since we have so many anti rush units running around like gofrieza pikkon ginyu 17 and even now jiren

@@adrxco6564 No I acknowledged that, but what I’m getting at is if you don’t have those characters or not necessarily a bad setup; he’s a ranged character and people put characters on any team nowadays, so any blast based team you can/want to run him potentially in the leader slot. And yes I know 17 and go-frieza bring so much value, but if you don’t have him, and if 17’s not switched in then what…And obviously he gains endurance from enemy rising rush, but you’re not just going to sack him because he gains so much potential and there are characters that die that have value either giving death buffs or death aoe. And I don’t think most people are scared to rush, it’s just their trying to play smarter. Good players and good teams usually go to timer, and yes even with rush nerfed, it’s still detrimental to more damage output at the end. But also the fact that you may want to get rid of stronger characters, revive, buff cancel or not, especially in a defensive playstyle when you have no switches or vanish.

The rush part doesn't matter for me personally cause almost everyone in pvp Rising Rushed me anyways. The dragon ball nerf did nothing it feels like. When the Uni Rep tag was added I was able to get FP Jiren at 7 stars from the banners.

Jiren should get his buffs when the enemy gets 7 dragon balls and the 2nd one when they rush, or when they transform, revive, or use their main, or when an ally is defeated Instead of cancelling all enemy buffs and upgrades when rush maybe he just nullifies them when they rush
