Jiren is a fantastic unit, super fun to play and to fight, and even being powerful as hell doesn't feel broken or toxic. This should be the bar a unit has to aspire. Regarding the teams composition, I think it goes mainly to the date. We are one day away from the end of the PVP season, and people wanna push with their tried and tested teams. The banner units are poweful, but not busted, and a lot of players doesn't want to put unknow variables in their competitive teams.

I feel like you naild the reasoning for seeing these types of teams perfectly. I myself run ugb, rose, zamasu but didnt want to risk taking too many losses with my other teams that werent as well built or reliable. After the pvp season ended however and i got jiren goku/frieza twice i started running them with mui. Tbh running those three were the most fun ive had in ages. They made pvp interesting again bc it felt like i was winning bc of my own skill instead of bc of the unit

The freshness and feeling of pure fun is amazing, but I'm also testing them with Kid Buu because I know that going deeper into the season, I'll need that extra muscle. I'm a father of two, and doesn't have as much time to play as I like, and going for the 10K is a 400 crystals difference in the pocket. So, at one point, you need to go with the team that u know is going to give you the best performance.

My opinion is that I would hate facing the same exact teams as before the anniversary. Ultra Hit, Ultra Kid Buu, Ultra Rose, Ultra Gogeta, LL Blue Android 17, GT 17 over and over and over. However, I haven't been facing those teams over and over when I've been playing PVP since the anniversary banner dropped. I'm not sure if it is just cause you are in Japan or what. I'm not facing nearly as many toxic characters as you have been in your videos. I'm also not super highly ranked in PVP, so that may also be a factor.

Making their rush null any better would be broken. It does its job well. Prevents early Rushes as well as LMS rushes. Do you have any idea how broken of an ability it is to be able to Rush in a 1v1 scenario while the opponent can't ? Especially with a unit who heals so much.

As a player that has him 14*: when my opponent is revealed to me and I see that their team is built around gogeta blue, I have this intense urge to say a little prayer for them. But sometimes I stop myself. I ask myself, do they really deserve my sympathy? After all those times you countered my blast arts, nullified my endurance with rush, destroyed all my cards with gauge, one combined me and one shot me with your ultimate countless times? I shall throw away my humanity. I wonder how they feel now when I lock them in with coolers strike arts. Quickly switch to Jiren and one shot them with his blue card. Or do the exact same thing but with goku/friezes green card lock. I wonder how they feel when I use Jirens green card to counter their strike arts and then 1 combo them. I have been itching for this revenge for all these months and now it’s finally time😈

Goresh, regarding your last question: My opinion on the teams you fought. This is sadly 100% correlated with the decision of making GoFrieza mid. I for one, did not summon since my current characters are a billion times better than go/Frieza. So since people don’t want a mid character, less people summoned. Or some summoned for the three star character, but at three stars they are UNUSABLE, I was getting DESTROYED by current ultras. So that’t the reason. They are not meta shifters

Despite it being the anniversary, the meta is still the same. A lot of people are still running triple Ultra teams, and it's annoying to have to fight those same teams over and over. It's like UGB, Pan, and Beasthan all over again, but worse. When the next Ultra comes out, it'll be the same issue.

I didnt read his Green card when he transforms so ive just been throwing it out without knowing what it did until this one match where was i was getting my ass kicked by an Ultra Super Gogeta and Vegito and LF Bardock. He was my last unit and i managed to make a comeback and found out right when a Bardock was about to strike me, that he getting his ass folded by jiren after i used the green card. Opinion on the teams you fought? Well... they all stink to fight. I think allowing more than one Ultra on a team at a time was a mistake and it really shows now, with Rose and Kid Buu being together in 9/10 high rank matches. It stifles creativity a ton and the units when paired are ridiculously irritating, and the exact same statement was true when every match had Rose and UGB, or UGB and Super Vegito, or really stretching back in time here, Super Vegito and USG.
