@@allenaju1856Don’t believe the TFS and Funimation dub’s interpretation of Broly. Broly’s fixation on Goku for crying is a dub error on Funimation’s script. They conflated baby Goku’s crying with the real reason Broly’s mind control started loosening.

But his fixation on Goku was seriously cause he cried to much as a baby. That's his whole reasoning for that specific grudge. Making him have one of the dumbest motives for being an antagonist to Goku ever.

Z Broly was mostly normal but he couldn't contain his power and his rage. The reason he hates Goku is because he triggers his trauma from when he was a baby and got stabbed and left for dead. Plus his dad tried to control him and use him so there's that.
