I tell people to this day that "Save The World" is not only my favorite DragonBall episode of ALL time. It could almost qualify as my favorite ANIME episode of all-time as well. That whole episode was NOT really just about who was stronger, Cell or Gohan. Basically like you said, there was so many raw STORYTELLING elements. And still my favorite pep talk of all-time "I don't know where you got it in your head that there's something wrong with you. Because there's not! You've saved my life and our friends lives so MANY times. And you are going to do it again, right now!"
