Ultra Instinct should not have been a character but rather a temporaty form at cost of the ki bars, to which in the time span you become (literally) untouchable, may sound OP but could be balanced at cost of having only melee attacks available to you and something like a 30 seconds timer or something like that. it's weird seeing Ultra instinct getting hit

For those who r worried: the dodge instinct mechanic will probably be one of the two skills that every character has with directional inputs. The only sad thing? Goku UI will be a separate char and goku (super) can't transform in UI or MUI, very sad i prefere transform in it whenever I want during a match instead being forced to choose the char itself

In regards to the transformations, it can actually still be on the same version of goku with SSG and SSB. While the transformation indicator under his health could be MUI, it may also just be Base form. MUI, though announced may not be a part of this build, or registered in-game as unlocked, so it doesn't solidfy one thing or the other. The website has him listed as Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct -sign-, and Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct (referring to MUI) Only time will tell, but it could be a transformation for Goku (Super) as maybe a branching transformation path for base form, or a separate character all together like you've said. That all said, Ultimate Gohan used to be a separate character in BT3 instead of a transform for adult Gohan, so who knows

@@jormilos yeah I never understood why they choosed that way for ultimate gohan, maybe it was for his costume (goku's costume) but I personally think that make UI and complete UI as separate characters is a slot waste for other characters that deserve it. And a bad decision for standard goku super, it's weird have such iconic transformations as separate characters and not as forms for goku super.. let's see I hope it's as we saying but I doubt it u know. Its better if we start to accept that they will be separate characters
