OG dragon ball characters that need to be in the game (in my opinion): Kid goku and ozaru transformation This will not happen (sadly) but i would like 2 versions of kid goku, one with the power pole and one without the power pole (based on the martial arts tournament where you can not use weapons just for be acurrate with the history mode of og dragon ball) Kid Krillin Son gohan (grandpa) Devilman Tao pai pai Cyber tao pai pai Tambourine Drum Demon king piccolo Pilaf machine (and pilaf machine fusion) Nam General black in his robot Android 8 Arale General Blue Teen version (not the kid version) of Chichi (this character should be like videl, only with rush type moves) Maybe a young version of yamcha or we can just have the Z yamcha with a skin of og dragon ball like in budokai tenkaichi 3 Again maybe a young version of tenshinhan and his ultimate would be the regular kikoho because at that time that was his most powerfull attack We do not need chiatzu because the z one is enough, maybe they can give us the option for chsnge chiatzu's ultimate because the selfdestruct one that he has is from DBZ and not from OG Dragon ball i do not know A OG dragon ball version of master roshi because the one that is in the game is from super. Seems the base roster is based on canon characters, whereas GT and movies will be dlc. I’m not mad at the choice if og DB is included. Will make for an interesting story mode when playing as Goku.

Bro all I wanted from a Dragon Ball game was for the whole story to be there and not starting with Raditz for the millionth time, and while Kakarot eventually backpedaled a bit I still wanted the whole og story. Looks like Sparking Zero may finally be the game

I recently re-watched OG Dragon Ball and I believe at least three characters have the potential to be really fun fighters to play as. First there's Staff Officer Black in the mech suit. He would be an awesome character to put against kid Goku, if we're talking about the Red Ribbon Army. Pirate Robot was also a great foe and we cannot forget about Sergeant Metallic, one of the first serious battles Goku had on the show (I believe he's an android too) Those three have unique abilities that are a testimony of Toriyama's creativity since the early days and it would be awesome to see them incorporated in the roster! I know they're obscure characters but they're way better than Great Ape Nappa or even Pilaf Machine

You make some great points. I think if they are bringing back OG dragon ball, i think we will only see Kid Goku, King Piccolo, General Tao, General Blue, and possibly the robot from pilaf and gang. I would love to see more but i doubt it will happen

My guess would be that only a few main characters from GT and the movies will be included in the base game and the rest will come as DLCs But that would be fire if OG DB is here at launch ngl

I do not know if they will put King Piccolo's Henchmen in the game like Cymbal, Tambourine, and Drum. Do you think Tambourine and Drum will be in the game or playable? Because Drum has never been playable in a main dragon ball game, and he was just part of Demon King Piccolo's moveset and not playable in BT3.

Every part of the series will be in this game. It’s more so, when will see actually hear the announcement. The marketing director wouldn’t say such a specific name for a no reason. I’m just covering that we officially have OG dragon ball confirmed at least base roster
