I know Akira Toriyama used Raditz as a means to introduce the Saiyans..... But honestly Raditz could have taken Vegeta's place and become a Z-Fighter. Vegeta was just as Evil or even more so than him but he was able to redeem himself eventually. And with Raditz as Goku's brother, it would have felt like a waste not doing so. Maybe they would have met in the Afterlife and learn more about each other as brothers.

Vegeta could have still existed as he is now and we could have still gotten Raditz integrated into the Z Fighters. It would've shed so much more light on the Saiyans as a whole, Goku and Raditz could have bonded over their parents, and the fact that Raditz was older than Vegeta and not a sheltered prince means he would've known even more about Saiyan culture. I think the simple fact is Toriyama didn't think too much about the Saiyans themselves til he saw the Bardock Special. And so he never saw the need to bring back Raditz.

Also, i feel like we can all pretty much agree that Vegeta was the worst of them by a longshot. Like, Nappa and Raditz were evil for sure, but i do thing they were at least loyal to each other to some degree (seeing that Raditz was sure they'd revive him and Nappa actually said they should do that after hearing about the dragon balls). Vegeta didn’t gaf and straight up let Raditz rot and killed Nappa himself, those were his people😭😭

Also, probably doesn’t mean anything and it's just my personal HC, but the fact that he kidnapped Gohan, with the understanding that Goku would care about him enough to murder a bunch of people and wake up his inner saiyan + the fact that Bardock and Gine loved each other and their kids (to some degree) tells me that he knows ans understands the loyalty of family and that's seems like a totally redeemable villain. Also he seemed horrified when he saw Goku, which fair enough, because imagine finding your brother after years and he doesn’t remember jackshit + he is mutilated (the tail), I'd be pissed lol

something that i read recently: the reason why raditz didn't really return in the manga (and the anime as a result) was because toriyama hated how long it took to draw and ink raditz's hair 😂 he really did just cut people out of the story for convenience's sake, smh

This game needs to fix the interactions. No real interaction between raditz and bardock is dumb. They still do that "what's a kakarot? Is that something you eat?" With goten and bardock. They still have that "my name is goku and i am from earth" with Bardock and goku, despite goku finally knowing of bardock's existence and even hearing a recording of his voice in the Super manga. Why do the same laziness from all the previous games?

@@Singhnlh i hope with dlc they add a lot. I like the game, but i am disappointed with some of the decisions and Cut content. Why do we have to wait for DLC on content that the other games already had? BT3 still feels like it was bigger with no DLC. Remember the world exploring from B3 and BT3 . RB1 and 2 had things on disc that this game is missing and those games were seen as lacking content for their time. What happened to all the great ape transformations? Where are all the DB characters from BT3? what are all the obscure characters from the BT and RB series, like King Vegeta, Tarble, SJ3 Broly and SJ3 Vegeta? What happened to the strange fusions like yamacha-tien, Buu absorbing Frieza and Cell? I understand it's a lot of stuff that were not the main focus to the overall game but those little things gave the game it's charm.. and it also fit in a disc that were 10x smaller than what these discs hold now, no day 1 update
