Ben Alexander Broly landed those hits when Gogeta was still SSJ. After Gogeta went Blue, Broly stood no chance and didn’t land a single hit. And stop pushing Broly to ridiculous levels with that “adapting” sh*t. He had already adapted to both Goku and Vegeta and his fight with Goku blue showed that he wasn’t getting any stronger with adaption. The fusions are in a league of their own and the show has made it clear that they cannot be surpassed, except by deities of course.

If Gogeta had equal strength to Broly, he would've shown it at least once. Broly is plenty strong, but lacks the focus and speed required to match Gogeta. That said, under the movie's pretext, Broly would never win.
