SSJ4 Gogeta is widely regarded as one of the most powerful Saiyans in the series. It would seem obvious that a character like him would be leagues ahead of less powerful Saiyans, such as Universe 6’s Cabba. In Dragon Ball Super, Cabba’s most advanced transformation is Super Saiyan 2, a form that, on the surface, appears far inferior to SSJ4 Gogeta. At least, that’s what conventional reasoning would tell you.

What you're misunderstanding is that SSG God Goku's feat with Beerus in BOG took the scaling of DBS to unimaginable heights. Though it may be unintended they made many characters surpass that SSG power, which is a force to be reckoned with in Dragon Ball GT. Making even guys like Cabba, able to stand up against SSJ4 Gogeta, due to lack of feats from GT's series that can even match BOG.

It should be noted that most of the external DB franchise (such as Heroes, Xenoverse, etc...) holds Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan 4 to be rivals (about even in power). Therefore, SS4 Gogeta should theoretically be as strong as SSB Gogeta. Now, when I say this, I am assuming equal base power levels for both Gogetas. As for whether or not base GT Goku was stronger than base DBS Goku (post-BOG), that is another story. Base Goku in GT was casually stronger than Majin Buu. Was he stronger than Saiyan Beyond God Goku and Vegeta? Hard to say. Either way, base Cabba would in fact solo all of Z. GT is more debatable.

Overall, I wasn’t too much of a GT fan, but I don’t think Cabba can’t even beat Omega Shenron. A tie is the best result against Shenron, but that’s being generous in my opinion. I don’t know what the fusion multiplier is, but it has to be ridiculously high.

What I mean is Goku is more skilful against Vegeta in the sayian arc. Why didn't he beat him? Goku had more skill against Cell. Why didn't Goku beat Cell and against Kid buu with Super Saiyan 3? this is frustrating. not the ssj4 gogeta vs cabba debate, no. my frustration comes from the fact people KEEP FORGETING THE ACTUAL MULTIPLIER FOR SSJ VEGETA. it is NOT 50x, because it is MASTERED. its 100x, that is why base vegeta tanked a punch from cabba without flinching even thought they were both ssj, vegeta had 2x his strength and from what we know, you only need about 60% more strength to be able to handle your opponent easily. also ssj4 multiplier its 1000x from 10x: great ape and 100x: mastered ssj. ( i think) ssj3 is 500x, that is why its not very significant against baby.

This reeks of Super Saiyan Vegito is Stronger than Super Saiyan 4 Goku (The worst power scaling ever from Daizenshuu 7) ideology that is false on every level for several basic reasons. 1) all GT characters are 10 years Stronger than their end of Z counterparts and characters. SSJ God & SSJ Blue are seen as equals to SSJ4. They are relative to each other. With accurate power scaling in mind, SSJ4 has the Higher Multiplier. Heroes givin SSJ4 it’s own Limiter Breaker. This is why SSJ4 Fusion w/o limit breaker can keep up, more or less with Ultra Instinct Omen Goku. Limit Breaker SSJ4 is in the same realm of power as M.U.I. Goku, although, it’s not quite as strong. You forgot to explain how SSJG is stronger than SSJ4 though. People always say God is stronger because it almost destroyed the universe, but the anime explains that's because Goku wasn't used to the form. GT writers hardly ever bothered with feats, but Base Goku does shake the Afterlife (A lesser feat but on a lesser form) and Omega Shenron destroying the universe just by existing is pretty OP. It's also unclear if Goku kept SSJG's power (And it was in SSJ, not base) but I don't want to write too much.

There's a lack of consistent narrative with Dragon Ball thanks to the different adaptions of Super (the movies, anime and manga) which are made worse due to translations and fan interpretations. The fact that there are fans that just want to be right or simply want to hate on GT or Super doesn't help.

SSG Goku can only be scaled above Vegito from BoG arc. Anything higher is headcanon. But even that is debatable now with Kefla stuff and portrayal of SSBs against Buu Saga Vegito in Legend(since this debate originated from Sparking Hero,so I'd as well use it). Lmao. You can make an argument for GT Goten, Gohan being above SSJ3 Buu Saga Anime Vegito as well. Which scales below Baby Saga Base GT Goku.

Omega Shenron was never going to destroy the universe by existing where tf did that even come from, you’re wanking him bad. His strongest attack was stated to lay waste to the universe overtime not all in one go, elder Kai literally explained it. “The minus negative energy ball pollutes planets one by one until the galaxy is spoiled and gone”. Therefore he has to destroy the universe one galaxy at a time, not all in one shot. Hes not a universe buster, at best he’s js universal over time. SSJG Goku from the first arc in Dragon Ball Super is a Universe Buster at the bare minimum.

I think this all stems from the idea that people think goku in bog used god form, then somehow his base becomes equal to god. People are simply misunderstanding to the dub and poor translation. The idea is that goku's body adapted to the divine ki allowing for him to turn back into god without the ritual, not that base is god. Take this into account and the power scaling makes more sense. However goku and vegeta technically have 2 base forms. 1 with normal ki, and 1 with divine. During rof, they were both training in divine ki, so of course they use it against frieza.

Story wise, if base goku is suddenly at the level he was fighting beerus, ssj2 should've put up an even better showing once god ran out, not to mention if gokus base is god level, why even have goku go back into god to stop beerus' attack? If base is now god level, then he could have stopped it at base. That also entails that literally every character in every universe is somehow strong enough to fight a destroyer. And that just sounds ridiculous. The scaling makes more sense if their base-ssj223 is scaled incrementally not exponentially, and god-blue receive moderate increase after bog, and rof.

(he did get a boost pre ToP but was still demolioshing ToP contenders before he did any training) Vegeta when he fought Cabba didn't use god ki, Champa and Vados would have mentioned it but they only mentioned it when he turned blue so it was base Vegeta using regular ki, none of the bullshit "absorbed god form into his base". God ki is an option not a permanent state otherwise nobody would be able to sense them ever. Cabba is a powerhouse in base, but is new to both super saiyan and super saiyan 2 but his base form doesn't cover the difference of 50x given to Goku in the cell saga in super saiyan. Thats just reasonable, and none of cabbas feats imply greater strength.....he struggled with a fat rolling boulder...
