@1:19 Akira Toriyama stated that he wanted to kill Vegeta during the saiyan arc in Z and doesn't like him but only brought him back because people liked him......explains all of the events related to Vegeta and how he gets trolled

My least favorite aspect of Z and Super to be honest. I Vegeta gets wins throughout but it’s never a main arc win. And if anyone deserves to kill Freza it’s definitely Vegeta. I know lots of other characters take back seats and Vegeta is my favorite so I’m glad he’s heavily featured. He’s also important as him and goku push each other to new heights, but damn can he please have an extended period of being stronger than Goku and a couple of final wins in arcs.

Gohan isn't Goku. The original intent was for Gohan to take his place, but after the Cell ark, it just wasn't in his character. Yeah, he'll do what he has to in order to protect, but he just doesn't like fighting.

I like that the end of the episode shows that while Beerus is fond of Earth and Goku & the gang, that doesn't mean he's their friend much less a dependable ally. It also helps to remember why the U7 vs U6 tournament happened in the first place. Beerus didn't care about the Super Dragon Balls, he just liked competing and winning against his brother. While Beerus may often argue with Champa, he still has his brother's back as we see in the ending.
