1. Vados and Whis being trolls is still hillarious 2. I love that the Androids, while not being particularly strong among the various fighters, are pretty important since they don't get tired. Meaning they can focus on a war of attrition. Its such a cool use of them in the tournament.

​​@@kenbocole1460 yeaaaaah..NO ssb goku wasn't going all out he was just sparring with krillin, 17 and gohan, they weren't ssb level. It's very evident when both ssb goku (exhibition match) and ssb vegeta (during top) were going toe to toe with toppo. The same toppo who was giving both 17 and gohan a run for their money to the point the only way 17 thought he could deal with him was to stall till the tournament was over.

The anime never goes into but in the manga we find out that the reason why a lot of the Destroyers have animosity toward Beerus is over a game of hide and seek. Zeno wanted to play with the Destroyers and obviously since Zeno is a little kid they wanted to make sure he won and felt good about himself. Whenever he'd get close to one of their hiding places, they would deliberately do something to give themselves away to make sure he found them. Problem is Beerus' narcoleptic ass fell asleep during the game so Zeno never found him. The rest of the Destroyers had to work insanely hard to console Zeno and stop him from throwing an existence erasing tantrum

Actually the reason why every destroyer hates beerus is explained in manga. Beerus fell asleep for 50 years while playing hide and seek with zeno. That's why all the other gods had to convince very hard to zeno to not to destroy everything. And that rat destroyer is actually as strong as beerus, so there's rivalry going on between them.

Yes that doesn't go with the anime at all only the manga. The manga actually got story and plot and what akira actually wanted.

@ I didn’t say nothing about canon akira doesn’t like the term on his series at all since it’s a multiversal series and it’s not misinformation the anime was actually first and because toei rushed things and had akira made even declined akiras daima art style and had him even more mad. And i didnt say nothing about writing this or that he made a script and gave it to toei and toyotaro and instead of listening to akira or mostly going off the script they did there own thing while in the manga it’s what akira actually wanted because he helped toyotaro but barely because toyotaro got most of it right if he didn’t it right then akira would make corrections to it before letting toyotaro continue. Like if toei actually sticked to the schedule and took there time they would’ve got things right and actually have good animation instead of having to fix it later on.

Manga was released first, anime was still the main dish, but both got bullet points from Akira to write a story around it which is hardly "90%" as both Toyotaro than Toei staff said some times these bullet points were vague stuff like "and these two characters have a big battle". Toriyama was a bit more involved with the manga as he would correct page panels. And canon barely matters to Dragon Ball, specially after GT.

This is definitely a transitional episode in the tournament, as we go from the eerie end of Universe 9, onto the next gaggle of opponents for our heroes, but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot to enjoy here. We get to see a lot of different characters coping with the destruction of Universe 9. And the one I find the most intriguing is Vados of all people. Although she rarely shows it, I feel like Vados really does care about Universe 6 and Champa. In this scene she is using humor to cope with the fact that she knows her universe is probably going to lose. She looks at Champa after the two Zeno destroy Universe 9, sees he's scared, and cracks a joke to lighten the mood. I find it hilarious that nearly everyone is shook to their core that an entire universe was destroyed, and then we cut to Freeza. We get another glimpse into why bringing Freeza back instead of Buu was a great decision. While everyone else is terrified, he is plotting. Freeza knows he is no where close to the top of the hierarchy any more, and instead of being scared and denying it like he would have on Namek (or even Resurrection F), he immediately starts planning on how to take out the two Zeno. Freeza is still one of the most despicable people in this show, but now he has learned patience. It makes him unpredictable, and that is terrifying. It's great to see the members of Team Universe 7 who actually stuck together succeeding and managing to knock several opponents out of the ring. Lastly we have Lazuli and Krillin team up against Universe 4. These two are so in sync with each other. The way they both come in and rescue each other, and the fact they practiced combo moves together is so cute! I am disappointed that Krillin is defeated so early on, but at least Lazuli is still in the tournament. We're now approaching the triple digits with the next episode, and it is a special one for sure! Hope you enjoy what is to come! -Red Sapphire

The entire TOP is 48min long in universe and theirs 34 episodes, meaning each episode covers something like 90 seconds in universe. So universe 9 lost in like 3min. Every one in the top is moving and speaking at extremely fast speeds and hitting each other with planet breaking force or more. Really insane toi think about I wish krillin had lasted longer but i guess someone had to be first and almost by tradition that's krillin.

Krillin got done even worse in the manga. He gets eliminated immediately without taking anybody out, where at least the show lets him take out 2 nobodys first. The good thing is his biggest contribution this arc is still yet to come!

Even though it was all filler, it really does suck to see Krillin be the first one to go after all that buildup of his training. Would've loved it if he stayed longer to be the 2nd or 3rd eliminated. But oh well, he at least took a couple people out and surprisingly not the most downright disrespectful elimination on U7, that comes much later

I was somewhat annoyed with the way Krillin went out. I'm not a big fan of characters getting eliminated because they let their guard down. I wished that Krillin got eliminated more epically. For example, Krillin fights a tough opponent giving everything he has but still getting knocked out. As you two said, it's not a complete loss for Krillin since he took out 2 people and lasted longer than Universe 9, so I'm not that annoyed. Honestly, I just wanted to see more of Krillin since he had 2 episodes dedicated to him before the T.O.P. started.
