What I really like about this song is that the notes that come in succession after 0:28 act as a complete parallel to the first notes of the Ultra Instinct theme. Really helps to compare these two transformations more and just makes the song incredibly detailed for me. Good job Gladius.

What a way to come full circle, is it not? From the very beginning Vegeta was a villain, bent on destruction. And, well...very egotistical. Over the entirety of Z and Super Vegeta grew soft...had a wife, kids, became a good guy...minus Majin Vegeta. Yet when the power was needed most, Vegeta sacrifices all of that and embraces who he once was. His Saiyan nature. And honestly? I'm all for it. This song perfectly encapsulates that, too.

Really thoughtful! I like to think his divergence into becoming Majin was his attempt at reawakening the more brutal, savage Vegeta from his past, but failing, thinking it was all about being evil. But Ultra Ego, is his way of integrating that darkness and savagery successfully, focusing completely and unapologetically on battle when in it, making him more powerful than he ever was. When you think about Beerus, he’s a great teacher for Vegeta. He’s not inherently evil, and his power has nothing to do with his morality. It’s very cool to see Vegeta’s progression even further with the help of Beerus. Glad you enjoyed the track too btw 😁

Not who he once was per se, but embracing his true nature as a Saiyan. Before he was a savage killer, not his fault since his "dad" was Frieza. And Vegeta didn't know better. With Goku, bulma, his family, etc. Made him become a proud warrior, friend, and father.

I love how certain parts sound almost ghoulish because Ultra Ego sort of digs up Vegeta's old self again. Goku reaching a power akin to the Heavens, while Vegeta reaches toward the power of some long forgotten, undead mindset. In other words I love this

A great contrast to UI's Theme from the anime! The rift at 0:50 is just great and that faint "OH!!" you hear is just chef's kiss. The slight nod to Beerus' theme was just so beautiful and didn't disturb the flow of the overall track. One of your bests by far! 🥰

Personally I think it would be awesome if they did a Planet Sadala arc where Vegeta goes to visit finally but while he’s there Frieza finds a way to get there and launches an invasion. This would provide huge development for Vegeta and Cabba’s relationship. You could have kale and caulifa there as well and broly could maybe even meet kale. Hell take all the saiyans on a trip to finally see a saiyan home world they were robbed of. Vegeta could master Ultra Ego and hakai Frieza thus getting his long deserved win he was robbed of in R4 along with making it so they cant keep bringing Frieza back.

Can we just take a moment to fully understand what's going on here cause oh my god this is soo beautiful! Apart from the music, that Yuya Takahashi inspiref art is just top tier, the reference to Beerus really just goes so hard, I swear Gladius really took it upon himself to give Vegeta the love he deserves. The instrumentation just makes it all the better, Granolah with detailed eye just makes it all the better to show how amazing this is... Thank you so much Gladius for this!
