+Ty Henderson In case you don't know why... ...kai of time guilty trip Trunks into it. It was explained in the 1st Xenoverse game. Though part of that story was already in Dragon Ball Online, where approx. 65% of this game is based on. Kai of time was part of it, but I think she was never shown, when she was revealed for the 1st Xenoverse game I was surprised. The way I saw the DBO story, I thought it was gonna be some really old, really serious Kai, it ended up being the exact contrary.

You should probably expect that when you're dealing with recording sessions for a game DURING development. The animated cutscenes weren't made by the time they recorded the lines, and the cutscenes were more focused on syncing in with the Japanese audio rather than the English audio.

Basically you can't just do a straight translation of a Japanese anime script and then just make that the dub script because you have to fit with the lip flaps. This has always been the case with anime though. (also the only time people complained about line changes in the dub is when they change lines way beyond their original meaning or add lines during moments of silence but luckily with Dragon Ball Kai and Battle of Gods/Resurrection F Funimation don't do that anymore)

BlackRex Yeah but this is how every anime is dubbed, the reason there's poor lip syncing here is probably down to the production company of the game not being that good in the voice acting department (the game uses the funimation actors but the game's publishers are the ones that provide the voice direction studio) which is weird considering that Namco Bandai publish loads of anime games and Dragon Ball is one of their biggest properties why didn't they put more effort into this part of the game.

Whereas Zamasu used it to basically kill everyone, saying that his decision to commit mass genocide was due to Trunks traveling to the past. And while Trunks had some indirect involvement, he was nowhere near the reason Zamasu decided to kill every mortal in the universe. So who really sinned: The kid who did it to save not only his future, but also save the past from a horrible threat or the god who went on a killing spree, slaughtering mortals and other gods alike (bearing in mind that Zamasu isn't allowed to needlessly kill others)??

The syncing is bad but the acting is good. It seems the animation is following the Japanese lip movements. Usually, Japanese games released in America have the lip movements edited to match the English words (e.g Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, DBZ, etc).

Well to be exact it's stated that if the last Kaioshin/Supreme Kai (God of Creation) dies the Hakaishin (God of Destruction) dies too but I think considering there's 2 Kaioshins in Beerus's realm he could kill one and spare the other. Elder Kai is still a Supreme Kai after all and Beerus killing him would make him completely disappear from all timelines where he exist in (look up DBS Future Trunks arc) so it's all muddy tbh.

i feel like people are confusing Animation with Art because i really fail to see how this animation is "way better" what's so good about it? it's stiff, it has little to no movement. Just because something is "On Model" or the character looks "correct" doesn't mean it's good animation, it's good art. :P All that aside though, i would really love to see Towa and Mira introduced in Super, it would make for a interesting story in my opinion.
