You have to pass the first advancement test for first power charge. Then you get mega charge from the last advancement test. I didn’t know it went beyond that. I wish they had a separate slot for ki charges cause we miss out on using other moves.

Randomly stumbled on this and so just gonna add some stuff I know.. What's fun about Energy Charge is.. you *can* get it for free at the start of the game by just picking the "I hang back and blast" style.. so you don't have to do the advancement tests... for the worst option lol but this is only truly helpful for anyone truly fresh and still making a character Also, Divinity Unleashed.. I heard it charges at Full Power Charge speed but the power-up state with the higher ki gain for attacking makes up for it as an option And then Burst and Ultimate just outclass the others imo.. and Burst Charge.. if held for long enough it slows down so much the game just stops your charge and you have to start again, like from empty it gets to.. maybe 3.5 bars? The Surging Spirit I think is just a reskinned Ultimate charge, even if it was faster you'd have to be testing the minutia of frames and shit because from any tests I've seen or done, it does not feel different

Use UI Goku when shooting to complete PQ 134 and always shoot for Vegeta first in each wave. I beat everyone fast, got only an S rank and got both Burst and Ultimate charge in one shot

Like i dont meant to be rude or anything but how did people miss the the first 3 lol? Everytime you finish a mission elder kai or the kai of uselessness (kai of time) says theyre holding a "special class" did everyone just ignore the advancement test? I kept doing them cuz i thought thats how you unlock more mentors faster cuz i wanted to learn as much as i could but i guess everyone else just ignored it😂

@@Sweet_Submissive No there isn’t a hidden charge. Those are the only 3 you unlock on the advancement tests. You might be thinking of a different skill?

@@Destrok-mr5nn surging spirit isn’t a skill you can get on it’s own. It’s already built into the ultra instinct transformation. To get ultra instinct you challenge FP Jiren near the multiplayer mode that’s beneath the steps to the time nest.

@@Destrok-mr5nn To use surging spirit press LB and Y at the same time if you’re on Xbox. For PlayStation it’s L1 and Triangle ,and if you’re on Switch it’s LB and X. Some people were confused on how to to use the move when they first saw this😅😅

You should be getting the skills when you first complete them. You might have to do them a couple times.
