@@francescocalabrese441 At least the Cell Jrs are still alive in DBS (Manga only) When Goku recruited Android 17 to join the Tournament of Power, Android 17 declined since no one will guard the island he was hired to protect as a ranger. Goku then had the idea to have Goten and Trunks guards the island without letting the kids know about the Tournament of Power. Android 17 even made the kids wear the ranger uniform with the ranger emblem. The Cell Jrs arrived and attacked Goten and Trunks. As first it was due the fact that the Cell Jrs thought Goten and Trunks are invaders and pochers. While on the way back, Android 17 explained that while Gohan did defeat the Cell jrs. Gohan never destroyed their cores. It took a while but the regenerated. When android 17 came in contact with the Cell Jrs, he managed to train the Cell jrs to do his bidding. They are like kids afterall. They were trained by Android 17 to not harm the animals, not damage the island and attack(but not kill) any intruders. Finally, to never attack rangers. As soon as one of the Cell jrs saw Goten and Trunk's ranger emblem, they stopped attacking and bowed to apologize then they ran away into the forest. These are all canon but exclusive to the manga only.

@@garchompelago though if I remember correctly technically it was never outright confirmed wether they were just weird creatures that look like the Cell Jrs or the actual spawn of Cell (though they really are just the Cell Jrs, not sure why the need to pretend it's a mistery). Either way, being manga only it either doesn't apply to the anime (so RIP Cell Jr no.8), it happened off-screen in the anime but with 7 Cell Jrs like the manga (so either he didn't regenerate with his brothers (RIP again) or just detached himself from the group) or it happened off-screen in the anime with all 8 (good ending)
