I find mission 12 much more efficient to get dragonballs. 1) When you start the mission, look straight ahead of where you spawn and there's a high chance of a time patroller being there 2) Beat him/her and look to see if it says you got a "Key item" when you win. 3) If it says Material item twice then you know you didn't get a dragonball. 4) If you didn't get a dragonball, to the menu and press restart and you'll spawn right away in the same spot 5) Just keep beating the patroller until you get the key item drop, then you finish the whole mission 6) Enjoy your infinite dragonballs I love this method because it doesn't require any blasted Z or S rank to get a spawn like mission 15, or any prerequisite fights before you get a time patroller like mission 2 wasting about 2 minutes beating 3 guys on a slim CHANCE at a spawn. You don't even have to walk your ass all the way to the mission desk to restart if you don't get a spawn. You find out at the very beginning if you got a dragonball or not which saves you the hassle of doing the whole missions for no reason. Using this method I collected all 7 dragonballs between 15-30 minutes. 15 minutes if I get lucky with the drops, and 30 minutes if I don't.

Parallel Quest Number 5 is an easy one as well. After you beat Raditz the time patroller will spawn to the left of the portal on the hill. Retry if you don't see him.

Mission #15: Explosion of Namek, I found extremely easy to farm for dragonballs because you only have to fight one (two if the time patroller shows up) enemy and you always finish the mission without having to constantly retry when the time patroller doesn't show up. That way you always get experience and rewards even if the TP doesn't show. This takes way less time into something with more reward as I know several people complain with farming dragonballs. Also if you have a few levels under you, you often get a Z rank rating when the mission ends if you play your cards right. Hope this helps!

Just do quest 15 and beat frieza as fast as possible, then a patroller will appear, beat them both without taking alot of damage and if possible get a S rank or higher to get a dragon ball

Another way to do this is on PQ #12. A time patroller has a high chance to spawn directly in front of the area you spawn in. If not - just retry. You do have to beat the Ginyu force afterwards though.

Eric Beaulieu The Time Patroller hasn't spawned? They usually spawn directly in front of you, just use the scouter, If one doesn't appear just retry until one does. Beat them and they should drop a "Key item" - if he doesn't just pause and retry.When you get the Key item, finish the quest. Do the same Quest again with a different character and repeat. Drop chance decreases with every dragon ball so you have to just keep trying.

If you kill the patrollers too quickly u dont get dragon balls I went 2 days killing 1000s of them trust me do quest 12 then u ur scouter to see if a patroller spawned in the begging if not then retry and check again then wait like a minute and a half before you beat him. You can hurt him a little while u wait for the time to be long enough then u always get dragon balls trust me I was frustrated as well because I killed them to fastest but just dont kill them quickly hope this helps

i recomend doing parallel quest 12. Do parallel quest 2 to farm 5 if not 6 ( some times you will need switch it up between all 15, 12,and 2) dragon balls. The last one is Ridiculously hard to get. Parellel quest 12 doesn't require you to fight someone for a patroller to appear. As soon as you start he is either there or not there and since its your last dragon ball the length of the quest wont matter especially since you will know if will u get the dragon ball sooner than the other the 2 quests.

What I have found out through experience, to find a time patroller in the mission, you have to kill krillin, tien, and yamcha on your own. You have to have teammates though. But, you just have to finish them off yourself in order for the time patroller to appear. Don't let your teammates kill them. They can hit them, they just can't kill them

Idk of anyone still plays, but I have pro offline tip: Mostely works on weaker enemy's but you might get lucky, Equip gravity impact, then when enemy goes flying do a Light attack combo why boosting (you should hit him like three times, the third you slam him down) But instead of doing third attack, quickly use gravity impact. The combos just keep rolling, works especially good if they have no stamina left, Hope it's helpful for those of you wanting to play this before the second one

Actually I found Attack of the Saiyans was faster. Raditz goes down pretty quickly, and if there's a Time Patroller next to the first area you can fight them pretty quickly. If they don't show up just restart the mission.

I couldn't quite hear you over the background noise when you spoke of how best to beat the patroller to get a ball. I have used this method for more than 2, 5 hours and i only have 2 dragonballs. The patrollers really don't pop up easily and getting a dragonball is 10 times harder. Is there a specific way to clear the first stage and increase the change of a patroller popping up and a specific way to beat him to increase the likelihood of him dropping a dragonball? I read 7 could be obtained in an hour.... Im nowhere near that rate

I tried one that also works. PQ 52 defeat the apes and gather materials quick , If you have 11-12 mins left there's a chance he will appear. At one point he appeared very often. Just get the hang of it and he will appear. it's not the quickest but it seemed he had a higher chance of dropping the dragon ball you needed. Seems only to work if you're quick , take little damage and gather materials.

Or do the ginyu force mission where you fight in the city, guldo + recoome, jeice + burter, then ginyu and sometimes frieza. You start on a small map with no enemies, where the patroller literally summons in the first seconds, in view too. It's far easier to do that. Unless you want to have a needly fight beforehand to check for a patroller.

This is one of the fastest ways to get dragonballs. if you're stronger or just want more experience points do the mission where you fight super saiyan god goku and in the second location after the fight look for a time patroller around beerus. if not then either restart the mission or finish it for the points.

The fastest way is pq12 I think, since the time patroller is right in front of you, you can see him/her if you take few steps forward. So you can just battle the patroller and retry almost immediatly if you didn't get the dragonball. The rest of the quest is fairly easy, since you most likely waste too much Time for freeza to appear and the ginyu force will fight you in three fights, with ginyu fighting alone. Hope this helps.

guy I recommend that you finish the mission if you get an encounter even if you don't get a key item. You will get at least a badge that can be worth a decent amount of zeni. Also if you clear the mission by beating Gohan and Piccolo in under 5mins Goku will show up.

The only thing that increases your chances of getting a DragonBall is by having less. The more you have, the less chance you have at getting the one or two specific dragon balls you haven't already collected. If you get the same ball you have through RNG it is changed to material items since you can only have one. Trust me, this is oh so very true the closer you get the having 7. It can take 20+ time patrollers on average to get the last one, unless you're lucky. I've tested speed killing the patroller, finishing with supers, ultimates, grabs, nothing will guarantee a dragon Ball drop.

A very good tut, man! But next time, lower the volume of the game or remove it. It was a little too loud and some stuff u say were not clear. Good vid!

I found that PQ's 5 and 12 are the best for farming Dragon balls. Sometimes you may have to alternate between the two to get some Db's but I find them more rewarding than PQ's 2 and 15.
