The thing that surprises me the about Mr. Satan is his power level. In Z his power level is 240. That was close to Goku and Piccolo's and the end of the original dragon ball. It's impressive because he still didn't know how to fly or use ki blasts. He was just that strong.

Did Goku even know how to fly at the end of DB? If so he must have just learned, because I just have no memories of him doing that until Z. Flight was not the easiest thing for our main gang at that power level either. But it makes some sense given that Mr Satan be at that level of power since he would have likely had to fight the same opponents that Goku had already defeated.

@@TailsClock Bit of a late answer, but Goku does show he can somewhat fly just by the end of the original Dragon Ball, during his fight with Piccolo Jr. He clearly had not mastered that yet though, by the start of DBZ he uses the nimbus, but after dying he starts his trip towards King Kai by flying a chunk of it until that exhaust him.
