Imagine if this game not only let us play as characters (and versions of characters) from across the Dragonball franchise but also did a story mode covering the events of early Dragonball ALL THE WAY UP through Z and Super to the end of Z (and possibly GT too)? That could be the biggest, longest, and most well executed story mode of any Dragonball-related campaign to date! It would take hundreds of hours to complete everything, of course, but DAMN would that be a great way to relive every saga from the beginning.

I can't stop watching this teaser. I am in disbelieve I honestly believe I died and went to heaven. Dragon ball Budokai Tenkaichi is the sole reason why I love dragon ball so much. I made scenarios too with my neighbor when we played it. We'd have information written on notebooks with level and it would determine how we could boost up the character. We'd go out to train and recruit characteres into our 'military.' Then we'd fight each other for locations in the DB Universe and fight overpowered NPCs when they threatened the universe. They'd get Picolo and I'd choose Gohan. I'd usually get Goku and they'd get Vegeta. x'D

What I absolutely loved about Tenkaichi 3 was the massive amount of characters and that you could use Goku on his basic form and envolve until ssj3 with the same character, so you had ssj1, 2 and 3. "Most exceptional combo system" Ah yes, the incredibly deep combos of Square-Triangle, Square-Square-Triangle, Square-Square-Square-Triangle, Square-Square-Square-Square-Triangle, and Square-Square-Square-Square-Square-Triangle, occasionally mixed up by tossing a random DirectionalInput+Circle command and chasing with R1 whenever one of the basic combos caused a knockback. Look, I freaking love Tenkaichi 3, but it's about as deep as picking up two action figures and smashing them together.

While the combos themselves were the same every character had different animations, speeds and power that made them all feel unique. I loved playing as Burter cuz of how ridiculously fast his punches and kicks were.

@@CoralCopperHead Yeah, the combos aren't what made Tenkaichi so fun, but the combat system is still pretty in depth for an arena fighter. Lots of counters, strategies and techniques that are character specific. Some of the inputs require a decent amount of game knowledge, even if they are all taught through the in-game tutorial. Z-counters, perfect hits, sonic sway, etc.
