Yo fellas. I've been playing DBZ Budokai since Budokai 1 was released. Once Budakai Tenkachi 1 came out, it completely revolutionized the game. Let's say, Bandai Namco took the time and effort they put into Elden Ring. We might just get the ultimate evolution of DBZ games. It will go something like this and bare with me I know how impossible this sounds. I'm dying of RCC Kidney and Lung Cancer. Will be able to play this game but for future generations. If anyone can ever get this to Bandai Namaco. Pitch this as the perfect DBZ game to ever exist. It will first need an online World Tornament mode w/ Earth DB/Z era, Cell Games, UN7 vs UN6 Nameless Planet and Tournament of Power stages. Just like Fall Guys each contestant is usered by random online players (also play with friends). AI bots are only replaced when players leave early. If you lose you're eliminated but you can stay to spectate till the end. Once a specific Character is picked all versions of that Character are locked. Also each Stage has the characters that were not yet available at the time locked. That way we only get actual possible " what if " matchups. We also need 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 online game modes with ALL MAPS AVAILABLE. 4v4's can either be an all out battle everyone fighting at once or you can choose turn based. So 1 at a time and the other players characters are spectating IN game until their teammate loses. A lot how they do in the show especially the Cell Games waiting turns. Order is chosen by teams before the match begins. We also need more than just repeated characters. It needs to match and or surpass Budokai Tenkachi's 3's roster. In both different characters and their versions as well. Finally a true Story Mode. True to the original game but this time with a Kakarot like open world just done much better. World to world traveling in space without loading screens. Any character available to play as but only once story mode is completed. Game doesn't even need to load in order to get into fights. Fights take place open world and can be taken anywhere. Dragon Balls have to mean something and should be needed to progress the story to make the same wishes made in the show. It will be like watching the anime but also playing Budokai Tenkachi 4. Trust me when I say, I know how unrealistic this is. Thing is Bandai Namco if you really wanted to. Speak to somebody like Rockstar or better yet work with Rockstar. Make it happen somehow and sell each game for $200 a pop. Unreal Engine 6 and throw in a turn off HUD completely or have it like RDR2 where Dpad has it pop up then shortly dissappear. You'll have game of the year and you'll make millions. Keep it alive with constant updates and DLC the characters fine even gouge us there. Also all the future Super yet to come can also be DLC. Just give future generations and Akira Toriyama the DBZ game they deserve. 🫶 you all can't wait to play this game

One thing I noticed is that in the old games when you do an in game fusion it used to heal you and then give you a ton of extra health. Maybe it just combined the characters health bars or something, but in this you just keep the same amount of health that you had before the fusion. Don’t know how I feel about that. Maybe it’s for a balancing thing this time around. Edit: also I wish the beams were thicker. I remember in the old games you have some skinny beams but then some were really thick and I liked that variety, every beam in this game looks as thick as a pencil but this isn’t really a complaint it’s just another nitpick.

god i love the way that gogeta and vegito have slightly different voice layering so you can see which has the dominant personality in the fusion; with vegito being vegeta dominant, and gogeta being goku dominant. OH! They’ve changed the beam clashes! Obviously they still aren’t perfect, but I feel that this new version where it slows down and zooms in every time the camera passes by each character is much better compared to the nauseating earlier versions. It also looks like the camera rotates on a single axis now which fixes some of the problems we had with it They’re still polishing the game guys and gals, keep the feedback coming!

I don't know what other people have said, but as a young Gohan main I think he looks great. If you ever look at DBFZ from alternate camera angles, you can see how much the 3D models are exaggerated to achieve many anime style effects. They've done a great job here of making the 3D look great and using snappy transitions for the cool moments. You gotta remember that you'll see these animations many times, so I think it's great that all the iconic moments are done with just enough time to let the impact frames hit and then it moves on. Some moves in the previous games took forever. Also, that track for intro on SSJ2 Gohan vs %100 Cell was perfect. I'm so hype

wish they had more interaction when the characters fuse. "Vegeta we need to fuse" "Damn it, I hate doing that stupid dance" a cool mini game during the load screen could be pushing buttons to fuse some characters, and if you get them wrong, they fuse into their fat/ skinny characters. some of the cut scenes feel like they're missing essential elements to them., or maybe they're just not exaggerated enough. Classic DBZ had over exaggerated muscles and veins popping out that made some scenes more epic. Blast attacks should cut to an orbital camera of space during a finisher too. I hope they do a classic voice pack as well, because that teen gohan voice ain't it

So glad they updated the combat speed compared to the earlier demo, it's much faster and smoother relative to tenkaichi 3, which is a huge win. Only thing is I hope they make the beams bigger and sound more impactful. Other than that I'm loving what I'm seeing from this game.
